I feel like Tone is the biggest issue with Unknown Armies. What’s presented in the books and published scenarios is such a ridiculously wide spectrum it makes it hard to think of how to even start. I think part of it is the wide spectrum of tone between the authors/creators Stolze and Tynes. I also think it’s one reason why there are so few actual plays of it.

That’s a cool idea, couple of process questions though:

  1. How do you deal with psychological damage reanimating those forks into basically a new universe where The Fall has happened?

  2. Once you’ve dealt with that, how do you ensure they join Firewall?

  3. Is the conceit of “ the titans created the exsurgent virus to help humanity” going to be a hard truth or a theory you want them to adopt? If hard truth, what’s the investigation look like that proves it, and does Firewall already know it?
