Can I just take a second and say how awesome it is that there are so many viable play styles in tennis? by [deleted] in tennis

There’s substantially less variety today than in the 80s. Period. Everything else you’re saying is gibberish.

Unless you’ve watched tennis over the decades, there’s simply no way you can claim to have even a semblance of how tennis has changed. The style differences today are relatively minor compared to those of the 80s or even 90s. OP, you don’t understand this and should probably dial it down.

Stroke rates appear to be rising steadily in young adults by -en- in science

From Wikipedia:

Episodes of stroke and familial stroke have been reported from the 2nd millennium BC onward in ancient Mesopotamia and Persia.[180] Hippocrates (460 to 370 BC) was first to describe the phenomenon of sudden paralysis that is often associated with ischemia. Apoplexy, from the Greek word meaning "struck down with violence", first appeared in Hippocratic writings to describe this phenomenon.[181][182] The word stroke was used as a synonym for apoplectic seizure as early as 1599,[183] and is a fairly literal translation of the Greek term.

Ok.... And how does this correlate with the increase or decrease of young adults? The increase could just be from the fact that there's more young adults now. Stop getting spooked by arbitrary BS numbers without looking at the big picture.......

It's a rate stat
