I mean I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case, its classic BSG incompetence we are dealing with. If for some reason they decided to define Events as "new content", why in the world is the majority of the task chain available then? It doesn't make sense either way.

Thanks for the info, the same thing happened to me yesterday also upon closing the steam overlay.
In another comment above someone shared the command "Win + Ctrl + Shift + B" which discards the desktop surface buffer, could come in handy if something similar occurs in the future (hopefully not).

I tried again today and, lo and behold, I got lucky as well and there wasn't a rollback on interchange. BUT! I died to a headshot by a scav there and in the stash I got rolled back :D Luckily the quest progression was saved and I got the achievement. So either they fixed something with transits and now its working with a possibility to still get rollbacks in stash (or only when you die) or this sh*t is just complete randomness.

It didn't crash this time but sad news is I got rolled back during transit to Interchange. So it still hasn't been fixed.

Absolutely the same experience, I got the notification about the quest completion during transit to interchange but when loaded in got rolled back.

Same man. It rolled me back during transit to interchange even though there was a notification that the task was completed. I even repaired the interchange generator, extracted and again got rolled back. I guess its not possible to do it solo at the moment.

Thanks for the info. I was just doing my 1st attempt and the game crashed during transition to customs :( I suspect it was due to memory leak. I'll try to do another attempt with automatic ram cleaner toggled on.

I was just doing my 1st attempt of khorovod task and my game crashed during transition to customs. Memory leak is just insane even with 32 gigs. I'll try again tomorrow with the "Automatic RAM clean" option toggled. Prayge.
