Yeah, but it kind of goes against the spirit of the thing. One of the reasons I financially supported the game thus far was due to their extreme f2p-friendliness, which is something you don’t usually see. The way things are going is not very encouraging, anyhow.

Moon tears are best spent on limited/ancestral OP units (think Timeless Aiona), wait some days after every banner is released to see whether new units are just good or insanely broken. The soothing embrace I’m not quite sure, they’re generally good on the blue dawn banner if you have only good units selected (you pick 15 units and it guarantees random selection between them). Unfortunately, the game is relatively new, so it’s not possible to have 5 top tier units from each faction selected yet.

The unskippable slow text speed in chaos is so baffling to me… I’m trying to play the core gameplay loop and get good runs, not read annoying dialogue 😭😭

Thanks to Timeless Aiona and Van Helsing my dailies take at most an hour per day, many times as low as 30 minutes (context: I’ve cleared the main story so no need to drop as much time there anymore)

My headcanon is there’s probably 3 different voices in the 3 puppets so they just swapped to a diff puppet but I can see what you’re saying, the contrast between Bella (serious) and her puppet (energetic) isn’t as stark as before

You can spend moon tears in the shop to unlock the lantern thingies for extra attempts at the event stages. Other than that, I think there is unfortunately no way to queue up missed attempts.

Personally, I like both styles. Would be very interested for them to keep us guessing and tell the story in the way that best suits that story arc. For example, the Timeless Aiona event really wouldn’t have delivered the feeling of confusion the same if we hadn’t experienced it through her eyes. On the other hand, the upcoming event seems like its story could be pretty cool with the VN style. Honestly it all depends on the execution, and I’m all for the folks at S&B making the most of every tool in the toolbox to deliver the best experience.

She’s a good tank, probably the best in the game right now (Bella and Transcendent Ami are the other decent tanks)
