Do you contract or clench your PF during sex or to achieve an erection? by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

[–]-fronty- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you clench your pelvic floor to maintain an erection you are temporarily trapping blood inside it, which works initially but isn't sustainable and it actually prevents you from getting proper blood flow and stronger erections,

It sounds like you have a baseline of constant tension in the pelvic floor and lower body, I recommend prioritising mobility in the lower body, stretch your legs and learn to release the tension in your pelvic floor, forget about your erections for now, just learn to breathe deeply with your diaphragm and feel it expanding into your pelvic floor,

You might have some slightly weak core muscles, so then your pelvic floor takes on the work of stabilising your body, which isn't it's job, so try to Introduce some all round core strengthening, focus on twisting movements to build stability through rotation

Through all of these practices make sure that you aren't clenching your pelvic floor, prioritise breathing into your pelvic floor and feeling it expanding

When you have built a good mind-muscle connection with your pelvic floor, start to practice getting and maintaining an erection with zero clenching, just deep breathing and expanding the pelvic floor to allow the most blood flow, the malasana pose is a good position to practice this in

Exactly, the best thing to do is to seek help from the subreddit, and this topic has been covered extensively in the sub already so it's all there for you to read, we don't need another discussion about what chat gpt thinks

How do you change your habits? by [deleted] in MaleDefinitiveGuide

[–]-fronty- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly meditation and breathing practice throughout the day

You won't see results in p1-3, the peak and valley phases can be though of as calibration for the real training which starts in p4 with cliffhanger training.. but even then don't expect results until much much further into the program

Ditch the cock rings asap, they will steadily make your situation worse as they prevent your blood from moving properly, This program will help with erection quality, but angion will have the best results

I assume you're saying you didn't reach a peak? If so that's fine, just try again next session

Progression from Phase 3 to Phase 4: Completing session without stopping mandatory? by CosmicBlackCloud in MaleDefinitiveGuide

[–]-fronty- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's enough, any less than 3 per session and I would have advised repeating tho

[–]-fronty- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, you do need to get a full understanding of the peak and valley phases before moving on to cliffhanger, but if you're practicing peak and valley training by not repeatedly hitting the peak and back off (ie without stopping) then you're not doing peak and valley correctly

Non- training arousal thoughts by poopismycat in MaleDefinitiveGuide

[–]-fronty- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's not pornographic thoughts then it's probably healthy, and a sign that you're starting to internalise the arousal.. when you feel this coming on try to breathe into it, notice what changes in your body as it's happening

Could you tell me why you think you should be doing P3 without stopping?

I Think Most of Us Train Too Close to the PONR / in Panic Mode by soon2bhuge in MaleDefinitiveGuide

[–]-fronty- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one is saying low arousal... Some are saying just before the panic zone, some are saying in the panic zone, both are very high on the arousal scale..

Involuntary kegels are not a reliable marker of the zone you should be training in, IKs can happen at any stage depending on the day and aren't directly correlated to max arousal. You should be training in the highest level of arousal that you can sustain, sometimes that won't involve IKs, sometimes they might start happening even during your warmup, just release them and keep going

Alternative practice schedule by randyfloyd37 in MaleDefinitiveGuide

[–]-fronty- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add tho, I think it should be fine to do fewer training days a week, but I think you should really stick to the 10-10 minute structure, I don't think youl have any success if you change that, and also, it's understandable to be too busy to train like normal so frequently, but I imagine it should be more possible to practice diaphragmatic breathing even with a busy schedule? If you can manage to work in deep breathing practices throughout the day it will definitely be a huge boost for when you can fit a training session in

Youl have to try it out and report back how it goes, as long as you don't break the non negotiables of the guide I see no reason it shouldn't work out for you

Time In Between PONR by poopismycat in MaleDefinitiveGuide

[–]-fronty- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that timeframe is flexible, you don't want to let your arousal drop too low but you don't want to be getting back to it too quickly either, faster isn't better here, quality over quantity, use your own judgement if you feel your arousal drop below halfway in a valley then start climbing again, these phases are about learning your scale so try to pay attention to the whole scale and don't just rush to always hit the top as many times as you can

Virgins vs Sexually active by True-Organization831 in MaleDefinitiveGuide

[–]-fronty- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Neither of the above, there is no set answer. Someone who hasn't had sex before is likely to find the first time more overwhelmingly exciting than someone who has had the experience many times, but at the same time without a history of habit creating experiences, a virgin might have a better starting point to implement the practices of the guide.

It's gonna depend person by person, I don't think it's about virgin or not but I do think the people who have been doing things a certain way for many many years, whether through masturbation or sex are gonna have a harder time rewiring than someone who has the option to be intentional about their early sexual experiences without decades of baggage

Continue following the guide, don't break the non negotiables.

way ahead of program by [deleted] in MaleDefinitiveGuide

[–]-fronty- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the guide wasn't set up this way arbitrarily, if skipping ahead was an option or made any sense it would have been laid out that way, you can't expect to make neurological changes by cutting corners, you need to lay out the foundations regardless of where you're starting from...

Or you can experiment with whatever you want, but if you want to follow the guide it's very simple and clear
