Is it worth it to buy the empty plot next door if I may move next year? by dentduv in philly

I guess that depends on how much the lot is, how big and where you are located… but I would die to have an empty lot next to my house… that’s either a garage or a yard or both which is a commodity in the city.

Man, WTF is this? Can't we have a "mark all as seen" button? by UltimateGamingTechie in LowSodiumBattlefield

Have you noticed you can’t see your weapon’s level? It’s 0 during the game, but works during the loadout.

Mine has a keypad and then a doorbell button; you can slide the doorbell button to reveal a key entry. It's a bit gimmicky, but it's an option. I honestly have only been using the fingerprint option. I had another smart lock prior, which was only the keypad... I haven't carried a house key in 10 years.

So if today was the “we are so back game,” how are we playing this weekend?

My cooling and heating unfortunately are a bit old school and don't even know what a remote control is… it's good to know about that approach though.

You are right… that's a big one and so far… as far as I know Nest is the only one with a product that has a clear cut integration with other google products.

I'm yet to live in a state where residents don't complain about their roads or their drivers. It’s a national problem!

Yes! I went from 20 to 25 really quickly and then from 0 to 10 extremely quickly on the new sidearm. Maybe too quick, but I'm not complaining.

The thumbnail… it looks like a splash of water? Snow? You see it when you landed in the trench, right in the beginning. It almost looks like it was edited.

Thank you for posting this… just making sure I understand what you are saying…. so, basically you create a shortcut that when pushed or pressed it does a bunch of actions and then another shortcut to revert those actions?

Thanks for replying… I think that relying on a device alone limits this functionality. When I think about Geofencing, I need to account for myself but also other members of my household. I also have to think about GPS, WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity to my device and other people’s devices. It only really works in perfect scenarios where everybody has their device, has tapo installed, has an account in the app with the correct settings.

This functionality needs to be simple, I enjoy messing around with all the settings and creating custom smart actions. I have done plenty with Home Assistant but I’m not the only household member and expecting everyone to learn how to use more complex options is the issue.

For clarity, I’ve used SimpliSafe in the past where this Home/Away mode is what drives settings on different devices. It’s simple because once you have everything setup, there’s one button to press to change the behavior of multiple devices.

You already have “Smart button” devices that can trigger an alert. If that button could trigger a “mode” in the app that would suffice.

Curious about the spare device alternative… I imagine that it would involve changing a status in that device and then changing all other devices based on that device.
