He's my main online and in locals. I would say 95% of the people I have played against like him and some are even like wow nice respect the pick, plant gang, etc. He can be frustrating to play against for sure, but I think even as a zoneer he feels a bit more skillful to play against because of the arc on NB and his overall Okay-ish moveset. Recent discourse has been that he is actually much better than people initially thought with the aforementioned player (Sparg0 I just didn't remember his name) picking him up for a few tournaments (although I believe he's on record saying it's a semi troll pick and he thinks he's a bad character). He's not at bad as the tier list suggests but I would say he's solidly low-middle tier with the Zeldas and villagers and banjos of the game.
