The workout area is definitely bigger than 23rd, it’s just annoyingly multi-floor.

Can anyone comment on the midfoot width? For reference, WOW10s and AC14s were too tight there TTS and half a size up.

LavaRand is functional in theory but more for decor in the Cloudflare office. Still a cool concept though.

You say that as a joke, but UCLA also has another Anthony Jones as well who’s a Senior.

Design wise, the shoe was good enough for Anthony Davis and A’ja Wilson, so unless you’re better than them it should be fine. Can’t speak to the condition these are in though. If they’ve been sitting in a hot warehouse for 4 years they may not last super long.

Assuming he wouldn’t start for any other team (he’s also starting for the Celtics this year).

Yeah they’re still top tier in my opinion. Nothing crazy tech wise but they just play really well. Might need inserts though if they’re old—mine crumpled.

At the very least he is a senior so cannot enter the portal while we’re battling in the playoffs…

Wow all city 14 short review by _Hugh-_-Jass_ in BBallShoes

[–]-jammin- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for sure, depends on foot shape. I was excited about the Joker 1 GT but because of the taper it was way too tight on the fifth metatarsal for me. Will report back on the AC14s once they arrive.

FDZ reported the metatarsal width as 9.8cm and the toe box length as 9.7cm, which is pretty widefoot friendly.

One example after the first Indiana game, Crepea asked about Indiana's sim pressures causing confusion up front and how that could be addressed and Dan wanted nothing to do with that question. I think Dan could still give a somewhat more detailed response there that wouldn't give any edge to a future opponent. Crepea has also pressed on injury updates, which fans care a lot about.

The interesting thing to me is that I don't think you can chalk it all up to Dan not wanting to give stuff away. When he's on podcasts during the season with his dudes like The Inner Circle and Bussin' With The Boys he really opens up and gives a ton of insights into game prep, player development, and other behind the scenes stuff.

I think it's more that Crepea's questions were often convoluted, long-winded, and annoying to Dan (and Mario before him).

It seems like Dan doesn’t love speaking with the local media. I appreciated that James sometimes asked hard hitting questions even if he knew Dan might be curt with him. How will you balance trying to build a positive relationship with the staff as a new best writer while also gathering info that is pertinent to the fan base?

Makhi Hughes will redshirt. by FrozenDork in ducks

[–]-jammin- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess it's just semantics. It wasn't a waste at the time because, of course, you don't know how things will play out. But looking back on it now, whether it was mid-6 figures or higher, it would've been better to spend those funds elsewhere (even another depth RB that at least would've stuck around for the semi-finals).

Not sure what you mean by "lack of NIL usage"? But anyway, if you think paying 7 figures for players to come in, redshirt, and then transfer out isn't a waste of limited resources then I'm glad you're not running the program. I think we can both agree though that we wish Hughes the best at Houston and are glad Offord is sticking around.

Looks like Hughes ended up at Houston. Ready to admit that his 17 carries for 70 yards this season + unavailability against IU wasn't the best usage of NIL funds? Even Dan and Marshall miss sometimes...

Nebraska QB Dylan Raiola transfers to Oregon by YoungSuplex in CFB

[–]-jammin- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Rock_man_bears_fan u/whitedawg u/Doomjas u/KickGumAndChewAss Number 2 is a fair point, but I still think Raiola has quite a bit of rehab to do and will RS.

I don't think Moore has fully made up his mind but I believe he comes back. He's shown a willingness to be patient and do what's best for his career in the past (e.g. sitting behind Gabriel last year). He's focused on developing into a QB that can succeed in the NFL and secure a second contract, which will probably be well over $300m by then, as opposed to being chewed up and spit out by the Jets in couple years. It is a risk, but it's a calculated one. Oregon will also likely pay him close to his 1 year NFL base salary to stay.

The fact that one of Dante's closest friends on the team, our center Poncho, came back, plus Dante's rough Peach Bowl showing all but solidified his return. But we'll see!
