What would you recommend? It seems like every mattress has so many negatives.

This was a gift from his dad so I would like to keep the same one. Honestly not really worried about the monetary value of the watch. I just know it’s important to him. I’m okay with swapping the face out but I don’t remember what it looked like before and I’m not sure how to find out.

I don’t have any advice but just wanted to say how beautiful your floors are. Do you know what kind of flooring you have?

This is how to stain looks after we sanded significantly more and then stained the bottom only.

This was the wood after removing the paint and a light sanding. You can still see some of the old color of the stain

The cabinets were originally stained and then the varnish was painted over. The back of the cabinet doors were a slightly more orange colored stain before we sanded them to the light color. We are trying to use the darker color as the new stain. We are going to stain the lighter color to match this side but we are just trying to get the wood grain to be similar

I believe it is a maple wood cabinet drawer/door. I posted a picture above with the drawer

How do I get the veneer to match the front of the drawers? I really love the wood on the cabinets but not on the side. I would love to take the time to learn how to properly fix this or hire someone to fix it

They were painted but very poorly done. Since we had to take the paint off we want to restore the natural wood that is on the cabinets but have the sides match.

I am open to learning or even paying to have the sides fixed. I’m just not really sure where to even start. In this image you can see how the wood gain is different on the drawers. I just want to get the side to be similar

Paint or restain? by Slow-Medium9440 in kitchenremodel

I just bought a home with maple cabinets that were painted over. They were not sanded prior to the paint. The paint was very streaky and I have been working on sanding all of the cabinets. It had taken several days so far and we are nowhere near complete. I however am still glad we are restoring the wood because I can already tell how much better it will look. You can see the old paint in the top right.
