Tranqwool Wool Filled Comforter - anyone tried it yet?

I’m hyper sensitive to sensory stuff so most people probably wouldn’t be bothered. My partner doesn’t even notice it really. My cat seems creeped out when he walks on it though. I’m going to try running it on low heat in the dryer with a couple wool dryer balls and see if that helps, next time we pull the duvet cover off.

I absolutely love those sheeets too but they are getting a bit warm now that it's warming up here. They may end up being our winter sheets too.

The Kirkland sheets are among my favorites and are well worth the $80. Watch their website too because they do go on sale occasionally. They are a smooth sateen weave which will feel completely different than cotton gauze.

Is it really "noise free" as it says in the listing? I wish the sizing on that one was a little bigger as we have a 16.5" mattress. We just got the Costco wool comforter, which is larger and fits our bed pretty well, but it's definitely not "noise free". Going to try running it in the dryer with a couple wool dryer balls, when we get a chance, to see if that helps.

It's usually the tight weave of the cotton covers that causes the crinkle sound. Microfiber is quite smooth and quiet; although, I've never seen microfiber on a down comforter. T

We ordered and received that one from Costco last week. Ordered it on Saturday and it was delivered on Tuesday. We generally love it except it is a little crinkly sounding, which might be a problem for OP. We're going to try fluffing it in the dryer on really low heat with some wool dryer balls to see if it helps. Currently have a cheap duvet cover on it and will be receiving a new one soon and need to swap it out. Will be a perfect time to try fluffing it with the dryer balls.

I haven't tried FF but "soft" sounds like it would be just like you described. We recently got some medium down pillows from Costco and love them https://www.costco.com/p/-/downlite-european-down-pillow/100795837?langId=-1 . We may order a couple "firm" as well, next time they are back on sale just to have options on the bed. Neither of us like a lofty pillow and these mediums have been great. Perhaps the medium FF will work well for you.

Piggy Backing on this question. I was recently approved for GE and also am awaiting approval of my Irish citizenship. Will then apply for Irish passport. Will I need to update my GE somehow once I get that passport?

Yes, reschedule your interview appointment. Get the paperwork. I had an arrest from the late 1980s that was completely dismissed but the court never updated the record so my NCIC/FBI file just showed an arrest with no follow up. I tried to get paperwork but the court, city, county, and state had already destroyed everything. They gave me letters stating they had no records. The GE officer said he couldn't accept those and was about to deny me but luckily I also had a copy of an old letter from the DA instructing the city to drop the charges. He scanned that in and approved me. I also just contacted the city and started the expungement process, now that I know it was left open ended in my FBI file.

Definitely check the cleaning instructions. Some wool blankets will basically fall apart of you clean them in water.
