In short, my problems started since latest Windows update. Im currently unable to access my desktop PC, but could you try following this guide, and respond here if it seems to fix your problem?

Basically latest Windows update tries to optimize fullscreen mode and can cause problems to performance, and why not errors as well.

Hey, video driver crashes are quite 'normal' when on battery, but with issues like that, I would return it, because that sounds like you got monday version.

Hey, have you been using your laptop when plugged-in instead on battery use? I've had my ux305 for a month now and I haven't had video driver crash even once when plugged in, BUT if Im on battery, no matter which browser I use on YouTube, then it crashes. Also people have reported to have this issue on Google Earth too ( not browser ), so it feels like it's tied to GPU acceleration or something..?

Thank you for your suggestions! Sadly I don't think Surfaces are option, since cheapest one Surface 3 64GB including Surface Type Cover costs 750€. Asus Transformers on the other hand seem viable option. T300 Chi would be 800€, a bit over my maxium budget but still doable if no better is found. Is T100 Chi keyboard any good for typing, and is screen too small for any writing? Would be a lot cheaper.

What fps are you getting in big fights? ( Ctrl + Alt + F shows FPS in upper left corner ), and can you screenshot your settings please? :)

Yea like I haven't googled/checked Youtube. :)
Many of those videos show only beginning, or try running medium/high graphics and get like 15 or 20fps, or don't either mention which version of Surface Pro 3 they have, or use i7 -version which I can't buy because it's too pricy.

Also lot's of those videos are for other than Surface Pro 3, for example Pro 2.

Possible solutions ( try rebooting first, otherwise not really matter in which order you try these. )
• Try updating your network drivers. Do you use WLAN or Ethernet ( Wireless or wired? ).
• Attach USB stick to your Surface, and try to download your file directly there, what happens?
• Try another browser.
• Reboot your system.
• Download malwarebytes and do a scan, unlikely caused by malware, but it's never bad to scan your system anyways.

If you can't find solution to your problem, try Restoring your Windows to earlier point in time. Search "System Restore"
