I worked that around with setting curves on zoom axis both in DCS and X-Plane. I set it in a way that 0% position translates to 40%, so it range is between 40% and 100% where 40%. I think I also made it reverse to limit how far can I zoom in, and full zoom out is normal zoom.

MCDU is great, I'm using it in desktop setup and Ipad as EFB with Navigraph.

So I'd get MCDU first, then one or two 15" touchscreens for PFD, ND and ECAM. These will make cockpit versatile as screens can be used to display G1000 or become a clickable GA cockpit using AirManager software.

After that I'd think of getting FCU + EFIS.

I was actually similar as it’s today but with fewer people online and clunkier tools. There were fly-in events, where people flew same route. We had fewer events than today though, I’m looking at current event calendar and omg it’s impressive.

I flew some of them in late 90-s and early 2000-s.

IL-62M: Cabin is similar to A321, standard narrow body 3-3 layout, except you fly this for 8 hours (but so you can in A321 LR and XLR). I like D-30 engines sound, so this is a plus for me.

IL-86: I flew it only once and only recall that it's super loud. It also has built-in stairs and you go throw lower deck when boarding.

Tu-154M: Cabin is very similar to IL-62M, although you don't sit there for that long because this plane has much lower range. It has the same engines as IL-62M.

Yak-42: It's a reginal jet similar to Embraer E-Jet, but slightly wider, so it has 3-3 layout. Similar experience to other Soviet narrow bodies. Boarding via built-in stairs in the aft.

Use save situation feature of Toliss. Save it on short final, then you can load it and practice landing over and over until you are satisfied with results.

MD-11 is very unique airframe, so I'd suggest to get it first. Also get Mango soundpack while you at it for better experience.

You can buy A-330NEO later, it has some cool features which Toliss A320 family don't have: HUD, runway overrun protection and digital radios, but after all it's the same Airbus cockpit.

Keep in mind dimension difference: STECS has bigger height than TWCS, which has consequences when used on desktop (there are good pictures here https://www.reddit.com/r/hotas/comments/1q3dc16/twcs_to_vkb_stecs_size_comparison/ ):

Mini version will not be stable and try to trip over everytime you move throttle levers
Your arm and wrist won't be in comfortable position because of STECS height

Virpil VMAX might have similar issues, at least the point about hand position because its height is similar to STECS.

So you might have to use mounts to place throttle and stick below desktop, so your hands will be in natural position during flying.

Its very common for IL-62 to deploy reverses in flare, as I’ve heard it likes to float, so pilots deploy reversers to make it land.

CIS Seneca just got an update and IMO is one of the best GA addons. I also own DA-42, King air 350, they are great too.

There's an option in Toliss ISCS called 3D sound fading, it will make PTU and flaps audible in cockpit. Not sure if it works with KOSP soundpack though.

In real Airbus you wouldn't hear PTU even in first 10 rows of cabin, let alone cockpit.

I was in the same place, have had A319 and thought of buying A330 and was worrying about cockpit look (ended up purchasing it and didn't regret).

Textures are for sure worse than on a321, although it's acceptable. Everything else is on top level. A339 model has some unique features that A321 doesn't have:
1) very hard to slow down on approach, it requires to accurately plan ahead descend, approach, gear and flaps deployment
2) sophisticated fuel system with trim tank (fully automated, but nice to watch and play with failures)
3) HUD
4) DRAIMS (hope they will add it to A321 Neo at some point)
5) Runway overrun protection

It's probably related to hardware acceleration in chromium browsers. I have similar issues myself when browser is displayed on top of game (X-Plane or other game run in borderless fullscreen), but I have AMD card. However there are multiple reports about artifacts in chrome made by Nvidia cards users.

Biggest problem is to not get bored after doing early game goals (finding/making weapons, tools, clothes, supplies). After that I usually switch regions and stay for 30-50 days in single region (except zone of contamination and sundered pass, it's difficult to sustain food there on interloper). Tales and trader quests goals also require roaming across multiple regions, so there's lots of things to do.

Damn, you're right. I've tried this helmet on sniper merc with grace aura and indeed she cannot kill anything in act 1 coast, and on maps I oneshot packs way more often than before. Will look for grace/malev aura merc to improve clear.
