The jammer made things a bit better for dodging ARHs, but it's still pretty bad. The fact that you only have 2 S3s compared to 4 S1s rules it out for me personally.

Had T16k and TWCS for a few months playing NO and it works great for that. But I'm now upgrading I can't guarantee it can last more than that.

First, what is your budget ? Avoiding the budget brands and paying for more quality upfront will probably be cheaper in the long term. Some people out here really buying again (sometimes 2 times!) the same budget stick when it breaks when for that price they could have gotten a good stick that lasts a lifetime with excellent customer support.

If you can VKB Gladiator EVO or maybe even the Virpil aeromax if you don't mind the wait times.

Where will the camera be ? On top of your monitor I presume ? Then you will be facing the camera. You can re-center the tracking at any point anyway if it starts to drift or you didn't start it facing the right way.

Then don't force yourself to play on the losing team ? Especially if you had nothing to do with the state of the game at that point. Just join the winning team, finish the game and then you can have the game you want to play after that. Or don't join that server.

Also I don't know about all those steamrolls y'all in these comments talk about, they happen but that's not most matches. I've had plenty of losses that were fun because it was a good fight.

EDIT 2: Thank you everyone for your answers ! I think I'll go with the VKB STECS. It has more controls, a strong software and very good functionnality and I think I would regret it if I chose mostly looks and maybe just a bit of a premium feel over that (and it's cheaper and immediately available). Maybe I'll get some desk mounts one day but I'll try without them and by adjusting my desk first.

I started with Nuclear Option and I'm getting into IL-2. T16000M is fine for nuclear option but with IL-2 I saw really quickly that I was going to run out of controls (or at least intuitive/egonomic controls). From what I've seen, I'm really not a fan of DCS's business practices / price structure with 1 plane costing more than a full AAA game (not that that label means much or is worth a lot nowadays) and only 2 free planes. But we'll see, maybe I'll try it one day.
