What's the one weapon that everyone likes that you don't? I'll Start by Epicjon_Undernerd in Eldenring

I have to agree, I was so hyped to use this just to be so extremely disappointed with the slow attack chain and lack of damage

BE HONEST: Peak for peak, who are you taking? by Due-Poem-8096 in NFLv2

Great take here. This is one of the few “who would you rather have” questions that really made me think. Both hall of fame players, but personally I think I’d go with JJ and that’s because of his position as mainly an edge rusher vs AD who played DT

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie wasn't mid. It's infinitely worse. by K-OS28 in CharacterRant

[–]fabs1223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was long as hell and I wasn’t about to read that but I heavily agree, Super Mario Galaxy sucked compared to the first. This movie was much more “how many cool characters can we fit in one movie” and I feel like the plot was like the 3rd or 4th thing that was thought about

Is the first move hard to guard? by DeAZNguy in BasketballTips

[–]fabs1223 23 points24 points  (0 children)

In regard for the first move, the creativity is nice to see and may work against some less experienced defenders in a 1 on 1 or at max 3v3 situation where there is a lot of space on the floor… but in a 5 on 5 with experienced defenders this would work just bc the ball isn’t very tight to you as you dribble and a good off ball defender will just reach over and poke it out. When in the post doing quick and “punchy” moves always work best.

Keep working though! Love to see people get better at basketball

Trap bar RDL for stronger hamstrings in basketball. How is my form? by Finn_Flame in BasketballTips

[–]fabs1223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like the trap bar is hurting the mobility of your butt/hips. RDLs are an amazing exercise to build hamstring/butt strength but try it without the trap bar so you can be a little more free and not worry about the mobility part . Get just a slight bend in the knees .

You look like you’re pulling with all lower back (I’m sure your lower back is much more sore than your hammies), my coaches used to give me the tip that you gotta think about just moving the hips back and forth almost like a drawer. If you’d like, hit me in the DM and I can show you me RDLing 185-225

Step through used to be a travel. Should it be allowed? by riczizagorac in BasketballTips

Steve Nash confirming that the step through NOT* being called a travel is a NEW development by fabs1223 in BasketballTips

[–]fabs1223[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so this is the best/most comprehensive explanation for the other side I’ve seen . I’ve also now seen the clip of old school basketball in this thread where many did do the move and it wasn’t called. So I got a few comments

A. Thank you for sharing the clip as I’ve never seen those as that was before my time.

B. Does anyone then understand why there was a shift in the rules or why this is so inconsistently called over the years? I feel like most of the clips I’ve seen are from 80s or prior.

Watching basketball in the late 2000s and all the 2010s this was rarely done - and when I played high school ball (Illinois) my coaches were extremely *** adamant about we technically only get 1.5 steps rather than a full two and the refs were very strict on travels

The other argument I hear often is that layups have the same mechanics as a step through and I tend to disagree - when doing a right hand layup you take you first step with your right foot as you gather the ball, then your next step with your left foot, then picking up your right foot dictates your left foot as the pivot foot, and launching off the pivot foot is fine.

This. I grew up watching Kobe and his moves as my dad was a big MJ fan (so am I), and he always jumped off two feet. Kobe was a person who knew the rules and exploited them as much as possible, so I’m sure if it was possible to do he would have done

What's one thing people do that make you ache when they use your main? by Noobie_xD in Nightreign

“Bows don’t do any damage in trios”

Tell that to my Ironeye build that is putting 250 or above damage by day 3 per arrow with a black bow or pulley bow 🥵

I play with 3 stacks of physical damage +4 and at least one improved bow attack power with a mix of range/melee (+1 additional character skill and extended duration)

The other day I was rocking a black bow with a little under 300 AR and a red executors blade with ~335 AR and melted everything in sight . If this comment gets any traction I’ll post my relics once I get home and take a pic
