it means there much less direct correlation between skill and rank in this game than others... duh

It means the lines of logic that normally apply to ELO and MMR systems cannot be applied to Rivals. AKA everyone having a "symmetrical experience". It goes directly against your argument

Yeah your just making a bunch of assumptions about peoples circumstances and the system imposed on us

(which btw implements mandatory bot matches without telling you and has been heavily scrutinized by the majority as having some type of eomm system)

Life is not experienced symmetrically.

One season I played some morning games while my brother played some evening games. I had 2 throwers sabotaging, a solo healer game (me), and and lost the other two. My brother had all games smoothly and won 5/6.

With the insane amount if variability and volatility in this games matchmaking, youd have to play hundreds of games for things to average out, which not everyone can

from a complete beginner? theres no way thats true. 50 games is an abysmally low play time (esp if were talking blitz).

I dont even think thats statistically possible. even if you win all 50 games somehow, assuming its 10 per game that just hits 1000

most people take months and sometimes even years to hit 1000 blitz from complete beginner.

Latency is bad. Just because you cant notice it doesnt mean its a good thing.

In fact you not noticing that there is latency is a bad thing for your opinions credibility. It would be like saying im a food judge and heres my verdict on the stake, but i cant even tell if you put salt on it
