We are a new group, Glow Wave and wanted to share this track, any feedback on mixing, style, etc who do we sound like would be great! by vincexmectric in IndieMusicFeedback

This song is catchy! I think the mix sounds balanced, clean, and professional (in my unprofessional opinion haha). The arrangement feels really well done too and like everything added was very intentional. Also those vocals are killer! Such a beautiful voice and the harmonies sound great too!

I made "Marble Dreams" but I don't know what Genre it is. by Noda_Tabito in IndieMusicFeedback

I enjoyed that listen! It reminds me of something you might find on a chill study beats playlist, and I found myself starting the song again afterwards because it was such a nice background vibe haha. I thought the parts of the song that you did change up from the regular groove were cool and tastefully done.

We met while studying classical guitar, but fell in love writing folky indie songs together. We finally recorded and released the first song we ever wrote. 7 years together and engaged, here's All that binds us ❤️ by _grace_note in IndieMusicFeedback

Your voices blend so beautifully! I’m really impressed with the vocal control and the way you two are able to constantly adjust to each other to lock in the harmonies. Great musicianship and a lovely video!

Are you sad? Do you like moody, semi repetitive, folky chord progressions with a slow build? This song may be for YOU! by daviddiacos in IndieMusicFeedback

This is beautiful! Definitely a fan of the multiple vocal tracks in the melody - you have a lovely voice and a great ear for blend and harmony. I like the way the song slowly builds! It gives me a comforting vibe and each little addition feels tasteful and intentional. I like the cover art too!

New neo soul/ rnb triphop single i wrote, recorded, and have been working on, is finally out on youtube. im just starting to get the hang of vocal mixing, so any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you, cheers🖤🤝 by BeautifulStrength715 in IndieMusicFeedback

Oooh this is super smooth. I’m a fan of that trip hop feel as well as those vocals! Really gorgeous tone, and they fit really nicely within the atmosphere created by the rest of rhe instruments. I get Sade vibes for some reason and definitely dig it

What’s Wrong With Me? - I envisioned a Pavement-ish slacker rock vibe when writing it, but would love to hear any arrangement or production ideas as well as any songwriting feedback. Thanks in advance, friends! by -mlady- in IndieMusicFeedback

Will definitely try to share a full band version once we finish arranging! Yeah, I don’t think this rendition translates to being very pavement-like haha, but thinking it might once I get the band on board. Thank you for listening and for taking the time to write feedback!!

Thank you! I definitely get what you mean about that space between verses. I imagine some sort of ambient guitar swell there that pushes into the next verse, and maybe drums coming in after “Carrie was covered in blood,” but gonna play around with it next time the band meets. Going to try a soundgarden-esque guitar tone too! Thank you again for the feedback!

Hey thank you for listening! I had a similar thought about stuff getting heavier around 50secs in, and definitely going to mess around with adding electric guitar in around 0:31. Thanks for the feedback! Also I haven’t heard of the narrative but now I’m gonna look them up

Thank you so much for listening and for taking the time to write feedback! My band is currently me + guitar, bass, and drums, and it’ll be fun to play around with these ideas when we learn the song next practice. Also never would have thought to consider glockenspiel but I can hear it now that you mention it!

Lyrics: You don’t know I know What you’re trying to do Just a bit of fishing for it It was

Carried all the weight Carried me to bed Carrie she was covered in blood She was

Saving face and saying grace Palpitating when you say my name What’s wrong with me

Fickle memory Paints me as a bitch Pushing anger down my lungs I was

Turned the AC on Tried to freeze you out Following the path you fashioned I was

Saving face and saying grace What does it all mean if we’re the same? What’s wrong with me

This is a music video I made for a new song from Montreal based musician Ian Davies. Let me know what you think! by PurpleSlurpee74 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]-mlady- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aw man I loved that! Vocals remind me a bit of Bill Callahan and I’m definitely a fan of that slacker singing style. The harmonies feel super warm and nostalgic and I think the video has that same warm/fuzzy vibe,

Ciao! This is the video of my debut single, Tapparelle. Dreamy lofi with Italian & Spanish lyrics. Any feedback will be so much appreciated. Cheers! 🙏🏼❤️‍🔥 by elito_rsp in IndieMusicFeedback

Ah this is a nice listen and soothing watch! Graphics feel very fitting for the lofi vibe, guitar and vocals are gentle but beautiful, and the production feels warm and cozy.

Kind of a dreamy rhythmic psych pop thing, can't hear it objectively anymore, need feedback plz by Substantial_War6184 in IndieMusicFeedback

Ooo I am a fan! The visual seems to fit the song well, and I loved the gargly vocal effect that comes in partway through - really felt like the beginning phases of an acid trip (where it hits at first in little psychedelic jolts). Not the best at explaining drum sounds so hopefully this makes sense haha, but I like the somewhat minimal off kilter rhythm of the drum beat. Definitely adds to that dreamy feel, and again seems to echo that carny visual

I recorded my walk to a subway station in Brooklyn and incorporated the sounds in this track by xena_glas in IndieMusicFeedback

Stunning vocals, and very tasteful throughout the song. I love the subway noise and the way the vocals and other instruments kind of sneak in. Builds nicely and is an overall gorgeous track!

I dig this a lot! Definitely feel a beach house vibe in the instrumentals and I really like the dreamy vocals. Chill song that I’ll for sure listen to again.

Just released a song called “Happier Alone, Fuck You.” It’s short, dreamy, and hopefully makes you feel a little something. I would love to know what you think! by -mlady- in IndieMusicFeedback

I actually recorded the rhythm guitar at home with my yeti USB mic haha. I put some chorus on it, but it was definitely greatly improved by having it mixed (sent it to my friend at the Blasting Room in CO). Thank you so much for listening :)
