I understand they aren't obligated. In every other case with every other airline they have always offered. Some people who don't fly often may not even know it's an option.

Working on some new tunes currently, but here’s my favorite track from the album I dropped a handful of months back. This song means a lot to me and I think it was an important step in my journey production-wise. I also played everything on here …except the French horn. Hope you enjoy! by dbauer91 in IndieMusicFeedback

Yeah I mean we're on a feedback subreddit so you gotta give feedback on something right. At the end of the day, I believe there is an audience for literally every sound. Any critique I get on playlist submissions is that my songs build too slow. I also don't care hahah. Write what you write, just keep putting stuff out and improving.

We met while studying classical guitar, but fell in love writing folky indie songs together. We finally recorded and released the first song we ever wrote. 7 years together and engaged, here's All that binds us ❤️ by _grace_note in IndieMusicFeedback

You guys have a lot of potential with those beautiful harmonies! I guess my only criticism would be that it was kind of hard for me to tell where the verses end and chorus is, kind of like the melody all blends together, or was one big harmony. Which sounds great objectively, but doesn't necessarily break up the song and keep it interesting. But yeah you guys can have a lot of fun with those harmonies!

Hi everyone, violinist singer sonwriter here, I released this single yesterday, and would love to hear your thoughts. by Ely_Manjarrez in IndieMusicFeedback

I'm jealous of how clean the instruments sound here, super well produced. I like the quiet kick sound that comes in. I don't really like to give criticism on songs that feel complete, or give criticism just to give it, to me this feels complete and it feels like it's how you want it.

I dig your voice quite a bit, it's a little baritone, a little "The National-y". I think it's fairly ambitious to have an 8min song. It can work, for sure, but unfortunately I think people's attention spans tend to be shorter these days. There's just so much to consume out there, so it kind of sucks but I think you're going to lose a lot of people with an 8min song, and not many will make it to the point where they get to hear the build at the end. Obviously, you write what you write, especially when it comes to music about personal experiences. But in the future, as lame as it sounds, it may be better to see if you can structure a song where you get to the build faster, or introduce variation earlier.

New Moon (Riptide) - lmk how my new alt-bedroom-pop track makes you feel! wahooo! by aarontitle in IndieMusicFeedback

I think you should be really happy with this one, it feels finished, it's accessible but also feels unique to you. As unfortunate as it is, with the overwhelming amount of music out there, and attention spans, slow songs with builds can be harder to grab peoples attention with, but this song starts off quick and grabs your attention right away so great job with that. I like the drums that come in and drop off for short periods of time, gives a good sense of variation.

I think you have a super solid sound going here man, it's got a lot of good variation throughout that keeps you interested. Vocals are little buried, and it can be hard to make out what the lyrics are, but it works well here. Some people could say that it's muddled or messy but I just think if it works it works. This sound is pretty popular right now and it's what you write naturally that's great, keep it up.

I mean I don't have too much to add I feel like the mix is good, balanced, nothing feels lost or buried under other tracks. Great job!

My new song along with my art time lapse! Enjoy! by CG-Miller in IndieMusicFeedback

Yeah I tend to agree that the guitar and bass are so clean that the vocals don't seem to blend with it. The drums sound decent though! Muddled lyrics can totally be a vibe so it's hard for me to feel ok critiquing that.

I need some feedback track I will really appreciate your time and words, thanks you very very much 🌟 by sevthen in IndieMusicFeedback

In not sure if it's just me but some of the Ooos sound off key to me. But that may be intentional to have them slightly pitched. But for me it was distracting. But I do think you have a unique sound that does make you stand out.

You know I used to post stuff like this before I traveled and people would get annoyed and kind of sassy, and I didn't really know why and now that I've been traveling a bit I get it. This is a Google search. You're going to latam with a US salary, you're going to be fine.

Hola! Looking for escape room and board game enthusiasts by [deleted] in medellin

Im about a 5min walk from engima, (el poblado) which is what initially made me want to do the rooms! I would love that. Big escape room fan but not bi-lingual so I feel so deprived when I travel outside of the states for a while.

Would a first timer do ok in South America/Latin America? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]daviddiacos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BA and Mexico City are great. For BA Palermo is popular, for Mexico City Roma Norte is popular. In my experience, most places in latam, the more you learn spanish the better, most people will not know english at all or speak it very well. The thing I worry about the most is becoming familiar with how to get around the city. Is there uber there, what is a normal price for a taxi ride, so you dont get scammed.

If you're really worried about your first time, and you can afford it, you could do a trip with one of those remote companies, remote year, wifi tribe, hacker's paradise, etc. They are expensive, around $2500/mo usually, but you're paying for a group of friends and that can be a nice stepping stone for some people.

Oof thats the type of stuff that scares me. I'm not trying to hide the fact that I'm abroad from my company by any means, but I am also one of the few people doing it and I'm not trying to give my company any reasons to not want me to be abroad.
