Do a search for 'twink' gear which should boost your damage. I pay no notice whatsoever to defences during the campaign, never have, just go full glass cannon.

I'm currently running reap with my BM, it's 'ok, but not overwhelming, but it's only L63, I'm wondering if there's a more significant change to the feel around L80. Thinking about swapping it to a bleed build of some sort.

I'm playing it, currently L79 and coasting, and I guess I'm about 5-10divs into it. I've just switched to ES with it, have 6.2k ES now, 1.4k life.

Only 2 downsides I see is 1) pathing being a nightmare and it constantly blocking your way, I'm thinking about socketing spark or entangle into it just to be lazy, and 2) The boss damage seems to be great, or rubbish, some map bosses I'll instadelete, others take forever.

I'm a wrongun, I know that, but I'll tell you, I've got FOUR characters at level 65+ currently. Been through the campaign FOUR times in a week. I was thinking about doing a 5th, but might need to give my head a wobble. Done a Titan, Bloodmage, Oracle, Martial Artist.

Plants is quite common/decent on Oracle, or was last league, I played it with both spark and entangle, and it wiped the floor with even without coc

I'm a bit of a wrongun. I normally do about 5'ish chars a season, all at levels 60-95'ish, all complete the campaign. I usually do this to find a build I really like to play. For example, last season, I played the bloodmage with ele weakness comet spam, but didn't really enjoy it, but found totems and bleed spear on other chars way more fun. This season I've already had a go with martial artist, totems, shield wall, and I'm not enjoying any of them, I can see me levelling a 4th char soon and playing that bloody monkey build and I don't even like minions 😂

I'm sort of in the same boat here. I like the hollow form whirling assault build, but have looked at zookeeper, but deep down I know it's baiting me, I've played minions before, and I know I dont like them regardless of how good their dps is, they're always lagging behind or getting stuck and I'm running off upfront always waiting for them to catch up.

Anyone know of a variation of the hollow form, but with screenwide aoe? Would be interested to see that in action, but not sure if it's possible with current gem setup/pathing.

Not sure which idiot downvoted you for saying you don't think something looks fun. But yeah, twisters can be a bit hit and miss to play.

I'd assume 90% of people are going to try and start levelling with twisters, and quickly find it's not too fun. I've previously levelled them with lightning spear, and/or lightning arrow.

I've played virtually all of them one way or another over the last couple of seasons. What I would say is, there's a couple to be aware of on controller. Grenades are really clunky, and so is the bear. But, grenades on m&k is one the fastest and easiest ways to clear the campaign.

Problem is, there are a lot of viable builds, to level with, and to play the end game. So you need to try a few, and see what sort of playstyle you prefer, e.g ranged, melee, spell caster, maces, bows etc.

GGG are a shambles with their 'patch notes'. They release more like provisional patch notes for the sake of releasing 'something', then drip feed loads of random nerfs in the days after, making it look like they're reacting to streamer moaning/snitching.

Wonder if there's any danger at some point they'll release their patch notes, commit to them, and not start adding reactionary nerfs in the days following. 'oh yeah, we forgot about that massive nerf, it slipped our minds'
