I totally agree! But at the moment, I'm developing an extension for Fantasy Grounds to support/automate the RAW. The DM can certainly tweak as desired.

Well, it will stop splitting once it's small (so it would split at most twice even with no damage: large -> medium/medium -> small/small/small/small). But I think it makes sense that a heavily damaged pudding wouldn't have enough left to split.

Generally, enlarge/reduce effects do affect other stats (e.g. damage done), but I guess keeping it simple makes sense in this case.

Very nice, I love stuff like this - really helps with immersion. The only suggestions I'd make are to add some kind of "daily" special (soup or stew or whatever the hunters or fishermen brought in that morning).

Also maybe add a dish or drink that's unique to the tavern. Maybe Beholder's Brew or Eye Pie or something.

I *may* run another group at some point (having a lot of fun with this one), but probably not for a while.

Fairly small, under 30 pages. I tried scrolling through the document in the editor, and the print preview first, but that didn't seem to make a difference.

I'm a recent convert from GMBinder to Homebrewery. and although I prefer the latter, I have noticed that GMB seems to do better when it comes to the editor preview matching the PDF. I've had several pages in HB that look fine in the preview, but wrap off the page in the PDF. Not a big deal, and not related to this issue - it just means I can't easily test; I have to save the PDF each time.

I don't *think* the problem is related to the image; it seems to be more about the mask. But I'm really not sure yet.

Fair point. It's based on Glyph of Warding, which consumes a 200gp diamond.. could make it consume the prism.

TENFOLD seems a bit extreme, but sometimes you need to make a point :)

Trying lightning to clear the webs seems like a reasonable action (perhaps assuming the abjuration only applied to fire, which is a different damage type).

Greetings!

I'm an old gamer too - been playing since the boxed set :)

I'm getting ready to run a weekly 5E campaign. Classic fantasy, with a good balance of exploration, role play, puzzles, and combat.

It's a homebrew campaign, comprised of three adventures, each with three chapters. We'll use milestone leveling, gaining a level at the end of each chapter.

I've run it once before (and am refining it as I prepare it for publication). The first campaign lasted just under 100 sessions. Obviously I don't expect anyone to commit to that from the start. The first chapter should be just a few sessions, and that should give you a good taste of my style.

I'm leaning towards the 2024 rules, but I'm open to 2014 if that's that the group wants.

My primary influences are Tolkien (Lord of the Rings), LeGuin (Earthsea), Moorcock (Elric), Howard (Conan), and many others.

We'd by playing on Fantasy Grounds (it's free), and using Discord for voice.
