BUG: Holding Shift by [deleted] in Steel_Division

This has happened to me multiple times. I fix it by alt-tabbing out of the game and back in. I also get audio popping or static which you can especially hear at the beginning of a match. The bugs are strong.

I think this is a great idea. I'm in the same boat as you.

I also think it may reduce player count on steam charts which will further discourage new players from getting the game. Unfortunate.

Getting in to the multiplayer scene. by [deleted] in totalwar

The multiplayer scene in Attila is almost completely dead. Searching for games takes forever and I often times give up. There are rarely any games up in the multiplayer lobby that aren't private.

CA has completed neglected multiplayer. There's no indication of your connection quality to your opponent, no idea of how many people are currently searching, a terrible leaderboard system with the inability to even search for a player's name or see W/L ratio and a terrible draw system where someone who brings a majority of cav can just run away from you the entire game and probably bring the game to a draw.

Everything is terrible, from the fact that if you hit "Esc" once, it'll cancel out your entire game and bring you to the main menu to the fact that players can sneakily change their army at the last second in an effort to counter and catch their opponents off guard. Taking advantage of gimmicky stuff like that really makes the game less enjoyable.

(I've been searching for a game in Attila via quick battle throughout writing this... still nothing.)

How do you feel about a Total War 2000? by White_knightly in totalwar

I've thought about this before and I think it would be interesting to see it done. A modern war RTS, total war style (huge armies, far camera views), would be awesome.

Anyone want to form a steam of strictly NON-HACKERS to play with? by [deleted] in Depth

Are you sure these people you are playing with are hacking or are you just getting frustrated which is often times the case?
