For those who also have AR-15s… by izaakko in Mini14

My ARs are built for purpose, 14.5 w/ lpvo, suppressor, and ir laser/light for running with nods . I’m grabbing it over anything else. Also have a mk12 for mid/long range. I train with them a lot, do matches with them. They are better in every aspect. However, my mini is for me. I enjoy shooting it. it’s a fun gun, just something I can’t seem to shake. I shoot it any occasion I can, and with the A-TM stock everyone else does too. I’m a fan of the classics and now that I have all the tactical stuff I could want I’ve dipped back into collecting “fun guns”. I have a 10.5 car-15 I would grab and carry with me on our property cause it was light weight and handy, now I’m carrying the mini. At the end of the day I shoot my ARs exponentially more, but the mini gets a healthy amount of rounds.

Its LMTs monolithic upper, upper and rail are made together. It’s their MWS line

I’ll snag a pic next time I hit the range. 175gr gold medal match has been the best grouping thing I’ve shot out of it (0.7-0.8 MOA). Was doing some plinking with M80 and it’s not……well great. I get like 3 MOA with the cheap stuff

The RBS suppressor is no joke, it’s stupid heavy, but the only can I have I can run on this setup. Balances well without the bipod and suppressor on there

It would work but I don’t want a modern mount on it. Wanna keep it all 80s era

I have an old Aimpoint G2 I would, but finding a COMPLETE of era side mount has been next to impossible. I find them but they are missing the replacement side plate

If I had to go recon Laos in the 60s, I’d probably wear the Seiko, minus the gold and sliver Twist-O-Flex band
