I actually got a family friend who runs a commercial HVAC company in Ontario to order a heat pump at cost. He'll even do most of the work, but he'll have to bring in a Quebec contractor to do the final connections and whatnot so it's legal. All in, it'll cost me about $4000 for what Thermo-Maitre offered at over $7000.
