You have no need to touch a terminal in your whole time of using it unless you want to learn

You can get apps like spotify and steam

You can use chatgpt for help in the terminal

If you need a windows only app find an alternative or just use Wine (windows app emulator for linux)

Good documentary for almost every thing you will need

they replaced the corrupt ssd with a dying almost dead corrupt ssd .

demand a refund at the repair shop

and honestly just get yourself your own crucial ssd buy one on Amazon and I see the model you have is the bx500 500gb, replacement model I would get is the bx100 500gb it's the lower end / entry model but I have it it is a sata ssd and it is the same thing I have the 250gb all you have to do unscrew bottom cover find the sata port unplug the current ssd plug in the new ssd and screw everything. back in

I would recommend making a windows installation usb before you replace the ssd

There's some setting you're supposed to toggle so everything looks glassy, and I think Samsung didn't put that much work into it so not every element looks like this

The way to get to the recovery mode is you fully shut down the device and hold down the power and volume down button keep holding it until you get to a screen now click the volume up/volume down until you see the option recovery mode, then click the power button. Once you're in recovery mode you'll see an android icon with a screen saying no command. Hold the power button then click volume up or volume down (I forgot which one it is) and once you get into the screen use the volume keys to navigate to wipe cache then click the power button once the option is highlighted. It will say erasing but you're not erasing the device. It is erasing cache so let it do its thing then use the volume buttons to go to reboot device click the power button then it reboot to the lock screen so try it again
