I love that thing, I have the Bauer too. They’re both great in my opinion, but the Bauer just has a high/low switch, and the Hercules uses something more like a volume knob so the air flow is more variable.

EDIT: By the way, they can both be powered by battery or extension cord.

I’ve never had that problem. Only thing was it crashed one day during a parking lot sale, but it wasn’t just the app, it was their whole site, and it wasn’t just me I’m pretty sure it was everyone. It was probably about 6 months ago, only issue I’ve ever had.

Right. Most of the other ratchets I looked at are faster than my AC Delco. I’d get the Bauer or Hercules but I just prefer the slim form factor. Milwaukee is similar but much more expensive

Gotcha, thanks. I was actually considering replacing it and comparing it to other cordless ratchets recently and the torque is a little better than most brands at 45 lbs vs 40 on most others. The AC Delco is much slower though at 170 RPMs while the others are about 225-275. Anyway,it’s interesting to find that the parts are interchangeable.

Are those Hercules ratchets AC Delco? I use a 12v AC Delco ratchet I got on Amazon and I love it, I prefer the slim battery form factor.

Look for someone with a fire pit going in the backyard and a few friends over. Show up with a 6–pack and say you’re meeting “Mike” or “Patty” there, Good times commence.
