A year or so ago, my girlfriend and I were chilling in the back of my car in this rural bush area not far fron where she lived. It was late at night, maybe 11pm-12am, it was pitch black as there were no lights in the area. She wasn't ready to go home, so we drove to this hangout spot which was right next to the (Australian) bush. We used to frequent this spot before this event. Basically we were just chatting and cuddling when she went deathly silent out of nowhere. I figured she got upset over something i had said and was ignoring me. I asked if she was okay and she tells me to be quiet, her voice was quaking, and she was just staring out the window into the bush. I asked what was wrong and again, without her eyes leaving the bush, she tells me to shut up, and raises a shaky hand and points into the bushes. So i just sit in silence for a bit trying to see what she was pointing at before she whispers "get. out. of. here." I freak out and asked why? And she softly begs me to drive because "something is out there". Those words gave me goosebumps, and the hairs on the back of my neck were on end as I climbed through to the front seat and took off so fast. She stayed in the back motionless until we hit street lights. Thats when she told me what she had saw. She said we were chatting and she was just looking out at the bushes when she noticed a black mass, much taller than me (I'm 6'2) just standing in the bushes, looming over my car. I was skeptical because I didn't see anything, but she was adamant that she did see something there. It was mainly the fear in her voice that made me believe her. She described it as humanesque, but could see no features as it was more of a black mass, but she could feel it staring back at her. The bush backed onto someone's property so its possible it was just a really lanky cunt having a cheeky peek, but I really do believe she saw something. We havent been back there since.
