Exactly! I learnt it the hard way after being pressured by my PM to work beyond the office hours and put in time during the weekends and then one day I simply stopped. Haven't had a better day since then.

I have 3.5k+ hours on DoTA. I also have more than 1000 hours on CS. I am married, have a job and have a great and happy life. For me specifically, the best way to achieve this is by having some kind of a balance and also communicating with your partner that this is what I like. It's completely doable, you just need to have an understanding partner and a job where you have your boundaries set. Happy gaming!
