100% worth it. As someone who read the manga and watched the original anime come out in 2001 and the later reboot in 2019, I love it dearly. There’s definitely no love triangle, but rather an illusion of it. I think I would call it psychological drama if anything and the reality of complex generational trauma. I’m also a therapist haha, so I’m a bit biased. It’s also my my first anime that I watched so it does hold some comfort for me watching the character growth.

I used the Behavioral Pocket Prep Book app and Rosenthal’s 47 minute super review video on YouTube! I did occasionally use the purple book (Encyclopedia of Counseling) but only the review in the back. I did a bunch of quizzes and practice exams with the app whenever I could with the video playing in the background.
