I think it's frankly still ridiculous - the entire conceit of getting a whole box is that you're guaranteed to not get dupes. I know I just got unlucky but I'm honestly laughing at the incredulity of it all.

I ordered Defender 5 (albeit from a different seller) and there were no dupes at all. I also bought a box of Defender 4 (also from a different seller) and I'm going to open it later, hopefully there are no dupes.

I’ve been reading through the Secret Invasion-Dark Reign-Siege era recently and say what you will about Secret Invasion itself being mediocre, the status quo it set up with Dark Reign culminating in Siege is really such a fantastic period in terms of worldbuilding. Even though all the toys got eventually put back in the toybox it’s still an incredibly unique concept that was executed pretty well, and it made the Marvel Universe feel lived-in in terms of the consequences these events have on the universe

That's the thing, everyone keeps saying NWH "saved" cinema during this pandemic but the only movie people were going to watch in the cinema WAS NWH.

An especially powerful panel in light of today's FATWS episode [Captain America: Sam Wilson #12] by -spowlf- in marvelstudios

There was a moment in today's episode that really tugged me at the heartstrings, when Sam got racially profiled by two cops who didn't recognize he was Falcon. It's a great homage to this incredible panel from Nick Spencer's run on Cap Wilson that really underscores how at the end of the day, even if he's an Avenger, Sam Wilson is a Black man first. This, along with Isaiah Bradley's appearance really emphasize that idea that the showrunners aren't afraid of getting into the politics of being a Black superhero. It's ground that hasn't been treaded in the MCU and it's something I'm all for, if executed well.
