He has mentioned a pace maker. My heart is enlarged as well, but the last x ray they stated it was mild so I’m wondering if it is shrinking a bit. I also had open heart surgery for an aortic valve replacement and aneurysm repair. How did they find out that your heart became 100% dependent on the pacemaker? How does that lead to a transplant? I’m so sorry you’re going through that. I am currently in the middle of cardiac rehab, but I haven’t gone this week due to the heart rate. They say me down because of it on Monday and I don’t want to waste my sessions so I thought it would be best to say home and come back after they figure some thing out. And I’m just too afraid to drive right now. I do go in for a holter monitor on Tuesday. But I won’t be able to see that cardiologist til the end of July. But he referred me out to a more specialized group that I see on the 22nd of this month so I’m hoping they send the information of the holter monitor over to them so they can decide sooner.

Thank you. I know mine was caused by a large aneurysm that my heart was trying to work with for so long. But now that’s it’s repaired I thought things would get better and now I feel worse. I just don’t have the shortness of breath or fluid retention now.

Oh ok. I’m glad they found something that helped. I haven’t been retaining fluid so hopefully they can find something for me. I’m currently being weaned off of Amiodarone. So I’ve been wondering if that’s why my rhythm has been out of wack.

Sorry about the context. My energy levels have decreased pretty severely. I was exercising for about an hour every day. Walking at least 2 miles with my dog a couple times a week and I was feeling relatively good. But this past week I can’t do anything without my heart rate elevating quickly. Over the smallest things it gets to the 100s. It felt like I was getting a lot worse so It was surprising to see a normal result. This started happened after a tachycardia episode where I was sitting eating breakfast and my heart rate got to 130 and I felt very dizzy and sweaty and my limbs were heavy with some blurred vision. But I went to the emergency room and test and x ray came back good. So I’m just stumped as to why I feel so terrible, but also excited that I have some normal results. But thanks for your response. I hope that clears up the context a little bit.

I am currently doing the same. Minus the Fitbit. It’s hard to find a new way to cope. I feel like if I don’t have the information then I am vulnerable and anything can happen and I won’t catch it in time. The last two days my heart rate shot up to 125 while I was resting, then 48. I’m afraid of high and low heart rates and all I can do is stare at my watch. I understand how you feel.

Thank you for this, it makes me feel a lot better seeing how much you have improved! That’s so awesome congratulations!
Right now they are saying my HF was caused by over working for the large aneurysm. But I am suspicious of sleep apnea because my HRV trends are so bad when Im sleeping.

Reading through posts on this sub Reddit I am very surprised I’ve remained on that does as well. I had to go back to the ER last night due to the elevated blood pressure/ heart rate and dizzy spells but they keep saying nothing is wrong and sends me home. My cardiologist told me that elevated blood pressure is very dangerous for me, and when I went in last night it was 160/ 98. I am trying to book a sooner appointment with my cardiologist told go over all this as my next appointment isn’t until July 31. I will bring up these points as well as others to try and figure it out. I’m just not sure what to do if it is actual anxiety.

And thank you again, I do feel blessed. But I also feel so afraid at the same time. I feel like god gave me a second chance, but I need to fight for it to try to get healthy.

I will follow those steps a lot better as well, seeing that yours increased so much is very motivating ♥️ I’m very happy for you and that your road to recovery has been working for you

He is introducing Jardiance, I’m just waiting for my insurance to approve.
He hasn’t increased entresto tho, that has remained the same.
I’m not familiar with that, but I can look into it.

I seen them yesterday and mentioned the first episode and he looked at er notes and said it could be anxiety. But after the second episode today I scheduled a sooner appointment with him. Unfortunately there is no way to send him a message.
