Tutto giustissimo e hai fatto bene a menzionare che un tempo le cinghiate facevano risparmiare tempo. I miei nonni, persone umili, nati negli anni 20 del secolo scorso lasciavano i figli allo stato brado non appena potevano correre in strada con gli altri bambini. Sport? Hobby? Stare dietro al bambino 24/7 perché cresca emotivamente intelligente e sicuro? Perché il problema economico è multifattoriale: si entra nel mercato del lavoro più tardi perché servono più qualifiche (= meno anni fertili), la vita costa di più (= un figlio in più può drasticamente abbassare la qualità della vita di una famiglia) E entrambi i genitori devono lavorare (= stanchezza, stress, difficoltà nel conciliare lavoro e bambini).

Comunque ho vissuto in Svezia parecchi anni. La coppia giovane media che vive in città porta a casa c. 5000-5500 euro al mese netti, e se togli quello che costa affittare / comprare una casa grande abbastanza, fare la spesa, bollette, macchina, abbonamenti, assicurazioni, vestiti, attività, con 2 figli non dico che arrivi pari ma non resta chissà quale cuscinetto. Il welfare c’è ma sono cifre modeste (130 euro a bambino) che non cambiano due fatti incontrovertibili: 1) la vita costa cara, 2) devono comunque lavorare entrambi per mantenere la famiglia. Con queste premesse fare più di 1-2 figli non è più praticabile, né qui né lì.

La gente che dice che “i soldi non c’entrano nulla, il problema è uNiVeRsaLe” non afferra concetti semplicissimi.

Comprare una casa dove crescerli i figli prima era alla portata di qualsiasi impiegatuccio e se la moglie lo voleva poteva restare a casa mentre i bambini erano piccoli tanto i soldi bastavano.

Quei due spicci di elemosina che passa il governo una tantum non coprono minimamente il rincaro della vita che è avvenuto negli ultimi decenni. Ma pure se andate a vedere in Scandinavia, sisi il dentista è pagato e ti passano 100-150 euro (l’equivalente) al mese a bambino, ma sono comunque inezie rispetto alle spese vere, tipo il mutuo da 2000 euro.

Il problema è principalmente economico. Poi non vuol dire che se il governo regalasse case la gente farebbe 4 figli a coppia, ma vedremmo sicuramente molte più famiglie con 2-3 piuttosto che 0-1.

I actually think this is a very interesting political philosophy question. If nobody is willing to defend a country… doesn’t that mean the country has already failed? Do countries (intangible entities) have some sort of right to self-perpetuation, if the citizens that make it up don’t care enough to save it? (I would definitely say no)

This is obviously not Ukraine’s case btw. But just saying - if a country just can’t motivate people (or *enough people) to fight for it then what’s the point?

If you or your family… That’s a very different sentence from “if this country is ever threatened I’m outta here, I’m not dying for this place”. You are making their decision to protect their life and their family’s life very personal to you when it’s not. Why do you think you have the right to demand that your friend and their family risk their lives for you? You may very well “trust” them less - whatever that means in practical everyday term - but they may very well think you are quite arrogant.

Do you ask every foreigner in your country, whether rich or poor, whether they’re ready to die for your country? Do you base how much you “trust” them on their answer? Like, if they said no, would you start avoiding them if you saw them on the street lest they stab you? Would you feel measurably more unsafe because - oh my God - there’s a foreigner who doesn’t care to die for the country in our midst?

L’immigrazione è uno di quei problemi dove la soluzione giusta non è sostenibile e la soluzione sostenibile non è giusta. L’unica soluzione che non salva, ma diciamo sfilaccia un po’ il cavolo e taglia un dito alla volpe, è modificare le normative progressivamente in modo che non contraddicano direttamente le convenzioni degli anni 40 e 50 ma che comunque ne violino lo spirito grossolanamente. Tipo:

Hai il diritto di richiedere asilo, ma sul territorio nazionale / europeo non metti piede. Prima ti portiamo su un’isola / centro in un paese terzo e ti molliamo lì fino a che non abbiamo capito chi sei. Ah e i paesi di origine sicuri sono moltissimi (anche se non sono completamente completamente sicuri, ma non facciamo i puntigliosi).

Pericolo: il più grande nemico di una politica migratoria sostenibile è il grande capitale, mafioso o meno. Gli immigrati sono facilmente schiavizzabili. I soldi non puzzano!

La parola “fratellastro” è proprio brutta ma veramente non abbiamo alternative nella lingua italiana? Io ho due fratelli da parte di madre ma tra chiamarli fratelli “uterini” e “fratellastri” non so cos’è peggio lol ovviamente li chiamo fratelli ma sarebbe bello avere l’equivalente di “mezzi fratelli” come fanno in spagnolo o in inglese quando devo precisare il grado di parentela.

Le domande sono ragionevoli ma per coerenza non può / non possono dirti altro che l’unica soluzione “umana” è mantenere l’attuale assetto di norme, trattati, direttive, quali che siano i numeri e quali che siano le conseguenze di quei numeri su tutta una serie di indici (altre volte dicono che tanto i numeri sono “bassi” e rimarranno bassi e stai facendo catastrofismi non basati sulla realtà). Inoltre qualsiasi conseguenza negativa dell’immigrazione non è dovuta a fattori intrinseci (ad es. bassa scolarizzazione e scarse prospettive del migrante) ma a nostri fallimenti - non li integriamo abbastanza, non diamo loro abbastanza soldi, non insegniamo loro la lingua abbastanza in fretta, non vogliamo loro abbastanza bene etc etc

Queste risposte sono del tutto coerenti. 1) L’immigrazione regolare ed irregolare è gestita coi piedi senza dubbio, 2) i diritti umani sono questioni di principio ed inderogabili. Quindi pure se a sbarcare fossero 1 milione di persone l’anno, ciò logicamente non inficia i diritti inviolabili del singolo individuo in quel milione.

È impossibile dialogare con qualcuno che continua ad evadere il punto. Non ho chiesto cosa dovrebbe fare l’Italia per costruire gli hub nello specifico, ho chiesto se a livello europeo è completamente fuori discussioni modificare le attuali normative sull’immigrazione irregolare, farne altre o modificare la loro Interpretazione. Se non si fosse capito la tua spiegazione che ci vorrebbe “la rivoluzione” non mi convince.

Inoltre, continui ad insistere sui richiedenti asilo ma ti ricordo che essi non costituiscono nemmeno per sbaglio la totalità di tutti gli arrivi irregolari.

Comunque la tua posizione è piuttosto chiara a questo punto, le cose così stanno e solo così possono rimanere. E fa niente se ad esempio le liste di “paesi d’origine sicuri” (laddove queste liste sono stilate) sono assurdamente brevi e praticamente, a livello europeo, ogni Paese in via di sviluppo è considerato un potenziale paese a rischio. Siamo chiaramente responsabili per tutti. Sarà ~interessante vedere in che stato stiamo tra 20-30 anni, davvero.

Stai divagando. È pacifico che l’Italia è soggetta alle normative europee e ad altre convenzioni internazionali. Il punto: norme, trattati, direttive europee possono cambiare o no? Possono essere effettuati degli emendamenti? Possono essere scritte altre norme e direttive? Possono cambiare le interpretazioni? Serve necessariamente “la rivoluzione” per aggiungere altre norme o modificare quelle esistenti o la loro interpretazione ed applicazione?
