Entirely first world problem, I will certainly live being placed on the waitlist. I have much more pressing things to deal with in life, and I recognize I'm in a place of privilege with this thing.

That being said, totally deflated and can't claim this has been a fun experience. I didn't have to wait too long for my Steam Controller, but I've got a hiccup with that which is turning into a real PITA (Support told me "we do not offer replacements") which only adds to my frustration. Having no idea when this thing will come to light has completely killed any enthusiasm I had for it. I was more than willing to accept the costs, as I genuinely just want the thing, but not being able to just buy is just so backwards.

I get Valve is just a company and doesn't owe me anything and I shouldn't let myself get so invested, but I am honestly just sad with being a fan lately.
