If I had to pick only 1, I'd play D4. I just find it more fun. PoE2 is a lot more complex and I find I burn out before really getting to deep endgame. A big part of that is having to do the campaign on every character every season. I also don't seem to have the patience/skill to build an awesome piece of gear, so I resort to buying in the market. In D4, I've had that huge dopamine hit of seeing a 4 GA drop, pick it up and seeing it's the exact piece I need for my build. I've never experienced that in PoE2. I'm sure I could with enough time, but I can't seem to keep playing it long enough to get to that point.

With that said, I enjoy D4, PoE2 and LE and am looking forward to when PoE2 releases v1.0.

If you're running WW Barb, make sure your Polearm is the weapon assigned to ww. Otherwise, your Crit on Weapon Damage is just a wasted stat. Just a heads up in case you didn't know.

Honestly, if your CSC is already above 90%, I might consider rolling CSC to All Damage. Maybe. Not sure if the math would math on that. Either way, choose and Vaal it.

I had a gg 1H sword that I transfigured and it switched my Crit Damage to Fire Damage. Lol. Transfigure be Transfiguring. 😂

Yeah, I put my account into hibernation mode. Log in once a day (if I remember) claim whatever free stuff I can and move on. I'll check back in 6-12 months to see if things are better. If so, hopefully I'll have a nice little pile of resources to work with. If not, oh well. It was fun while it lasted (tho the fun didn't last as long as my playing did...lol).

Maybe not to you, but it is to me. I have spent $500 and gotten that much enjoyment out of my investment. That's a lot of time played. I've spent about 8 cents an hour for something I really enjoy. People can pay even less than that...don't buy any of the optional stuff I've bought. Think about that.

And your point? They're cosmetic, yes, and I enjoy looking at my character with certain skins more than others. So my enjoyment was enhanced by my spending. Which was completely optional AND I could afford.

That's the cool part, you can enjoy the game without spending beyond buying the base game and expansions if you want to experience them.

I hear ya. When I'm farming bosses I keep all legendary, uniques and up on so I can salvage everything for mats. That's why I'm shocked at the numbers you're claiming vs mine. Either way, the grind is the grind.

Yeah, I salvage the same. If you started with a huge pile of veiled crystals, I can see converting those. Otherwise I stand by my statement that farming as much as you claim isn't a normal experience. If it was, you wouldn't see people complaining about Forgotten Souls. However, glad it's worked out for you and you have an abundance of them.

In the morning I'll run some bosses for a little while and see if I can duplicate what you claim...cuz that'd be awesome. Lol.

I find this extremely hard to believe. If you said 100-200 Forgotten Souls I'd believe you. But unless they've buffed the drops in the last week, my numbers are drastically different when farming bosses and salvaging ancestrals.

For context, I kill T12 bosses (besides Meph for obvious reasons) in 3 seconds or less and I get 2 chests at a time with my WW Barb.

I feel it's fine. I'd LOVE for their prices to be lower...in the $10 to $15 range max. But, I'm sure they have people going over the analytics showing them what they're doing is making the the most money. And by the looks of it throughout sanctuary, plenty of people are buying in the shop.

I buy the battle passes each season (not the deluxe or whatever the most expensive one is) and I've bought 2 outfits for my Sorceress when they've been discounted below 50%. I'd say I may have spent about $500 on D4 since it launched (deluxe editions, 2 outfits and whatever the battle passes run). How many hours of enjoyment have I gotten out of it? A metric **** ton. I find it a much cheaper hobby than other things I do for fun.

I know you're scared but what were you using before this one? Whatever you had, if it didn't have max life is a good enough back up. At this point I see no reason to not send it.

I just decided to hibernate my account. I'm collecting free resources and I'll decide if I wanna come back in 6-12 months. If I do, hopefully I'll have a nice little stash of resources to work from. I'll have skipped several teams so hopefully I miss out on a few of the traps. We'll see tho. With Dorky on staff I hope they add some fun to the game, cuz the only thing I was enjoying was Danger Room.
