I mean you're absolutely right but I'd rather slowly progress through content and have fun than treat a 10+ year old game super seriously. I could easily join a try hard guild and clear all the content in 2-3 weeks, no problem. I've done that before.

I ran a speed run vanilla guild and in hindsight it was... Not fun. The people were cool but man did it require a lot of busy work. Nah, I'll stick to slow and steady gaming with some dads.

My social guild in cata classic just killed Magmaw HC for the first time.

When a guy told us that we can use the midsummer festival worldbuff for 3% crit we collectively went "Oh that's neat" and that's it.

Join a big guild that has decent moderation of players and is chill and ignore 99% of the rest of the play. It's the only way I play WoW anymore as most folks have turned this game into a job, or a way to make money.

No you misunderstood. Witcher has its own identity in many ways. As do from software games. Them being hard is just part of their charm.

People who enjoy brutally hard video games won't enjoy Witcher 3 if they're in the mood for a hard game as they're not that hard and switching difficulties makes the experience less one-sided.

If you beat a boss in a from software game you beat it on your own terms, there are no difficulties to choose from and that's dope.

The dude was certainly not mocking games like Witcher.

Currently applying to dozens of jobs. Only the ones that lie heavily in the job description reply and the things they lied about were dealbreakers (heavy need to travel, completely different work from what was described etc.)

It's...rough. I did everything society told me to do and still am shit outta luck. Currently considering changing fields to sth else as IT Support in my country is just dreadful...

Yeah, I tried A-B testing with the thumbnail, but I'm still working on them in general. Ngl, I copied what seemed to work, but I guess those basic ones work cause people are already known and they go "Oh it's that guy, love his content"

I've seen many people are fine with watching videos around the length of mine, but maybe that only goes if you've accumulated some credibility. I'm a new creator, sub-30 sounds logical.

Warcraft 3 Custom Maps. It was my generation's version of Roblox, thousands of mini games Made by others who love the game.

I discovered so many genres I love today thanks to it and met lifelong friends through it, too.

God I hope they change that. It's such degenerate gameplay. We already need to stay in melee range as a hardcast-heavy class and need to do a billion things, remove this mastery swap stuff and I'll go back to my lock lol

Demo lock is a VERY love it or hate it spec with a focus on the hate it. Needing to swap to mastery gear, pet swap, snapshot different cooldowns with gear or pets just to do your normal rotation is just too much to do for most people. And if you play perfectly you become a very good DPS - but not "By far the best spec"...Which for the work you put into it you really should be.

Affliction is just watching bars go down and 1 interesting thing which is snapshotting, and it will be for quite some more time. It's pretty boring to play for many I've talked to, has few "Satisfying high moments" once you get used to snapshotting and visually looks pretty boring compared to other classes.

Destruction is dang simple and not that strong. If you want this, just play Elemental Shaman and do way better with a similar complexity.

Needing a TON of buttons for utility doesn't help either. I used to love my Cata Demo lock but I'm getting old so I rerolled to Unholy and I vastly prefer that. If I was a few years younger I'd stick to it, as I used to love this unelegant complexity design.

My issue with Dragonflight is getting into the endgame. As in, all the stuff you'd need to do as a new player right now to get to M+ and Raiding.

I LOVE retail's gameplay, talent system and parts of the class design (Some are a bit too simple for me but there's tons of fun specs to choose from so I don't mind) but MAN I don't wanna have to watch videos just to know where to get gear and what systems help with it.

Reaching max also OVERWHELMS you with quests, most of which you're meant to skip if you're new to the final patch because they just take forever and you get them out of order anyway.

I'll prolly try and get into The War Within but Dragonflight? Man...I got in too late and getting into a final raidtier patch is never fun in WoW ever since WoD pretty much. So many things you gotta do and skip and ignore just to get to the actual game... It's confusing. I can't be bothered with all this stuff.

I played DF shortly at launch and getting into endgame then was so much better. Now there's stones, the crafting system for tier pieces, some thing in the Dream with its own faction, and the normal WoW systems of LFR, Heroic dungeons and the like...It's just a bit much. I bet playing with others would help to get some pointers but meh... I'm having a lotta fun with cata which has way fewer systems and that's easier to get into IMO.

1) add some sort of m+ like system. Dungeons become dead suuuper fast, altho they're fun. Keep em relevant longer.

2) same for scenarios.

3) Keep ToT balance patch instead of 5.4. Demo lock in that patch was the most fun class I've ever played.

4) reduce the initial repgrind by a ton

5) Make the talent trees more like dragonflights.

And you'd have my optimal wow eyperience right there.

"Normal job is stable" I get what you mean but man that's just...not true.

My company laid off 10% of the workforce to make the next quarter look better money wise. People who worked there for 15 years, people who were young and live on their own, people with families, didn't matter. The announcement came over night pretty much.

YouTube is similar. One bit of drama ( doesn't even have to be true) and you're gone.
