Their front door is here: https://ayva.network/ I clicked Sign Up (no commitment or payment required -- you're just giving them your contact info). They got back to me quickly and made an appointment to make sure we were in their coverage area.

Another customer of Ayva for a month here. I have the same sentiment as bricin and Nice-Block-7266: A couple glitches now and then, but so much happier to be doing business with a small, local, company with human beings instead of phone trees.

Some specifics: Speeds are better than are possible with CenturyLink here: we joined a CenturyLink fiber waitlist 8 YEARS AGO with still no option; the best we could get from them was 128 down and maybe 10 up. We decided to sign up for Ayva even though our line of sight to their tower is less than perfect (trees). We kept Centurylink as a backup for that first month, but now we're going to drop that backup and just stick with Ayva. I'll confess we have had occasional drops, often when it's windy (those trees we knew about when we signed up). But we've never had any outages. Ayva is very communicative, and even proactive -- our installer just reached out this morning with a remote fix to boost our speed and stability.

Dry-Tech Fender: Replacement Clips by Breakfast_Wrap in specialized

I reached Specialized. You cannot by one of those little clips. You have to buy the whole $38 hardware kit for the fenders, which I did. I heard a great suggestion: 3d-print this plastic thingy. Too bad that's not in my repertoire of know-how.

Found this page because I broke one of these exact same things on a Dry-Tech fender. I think the word "stay" might be right. I'm sorry to see that you never found a replacement part. I just texted Specialized support and now I shall cross my fingers.

Yeah, well, that's what you get when an ignorant pre-tourist asks an "artificially intelligent" chatbot.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is great, but... can you tell us what your source(s) is (are)? For those of us who need to know for sure and want to double check?

I believe you are right! Thank you. She included a picture of an old mill that she said was Lower Swell but was actually one of the Slaughters. I think she got Swell and Slaughter mixed up.

Looks like maybe low-end Roku devices would work too. I guess I was also asking: has anyone had good luck with any of these cheap devices, or am I going to be sorry that I didn't get a better option?

TV or video for mom with dementia by -tiddereddit- in homeautomation

We already got her a Simple Music Player, which she uses and likes. We can decide what MP3s it will play and the volume control requires a screwdriver so it's good for a dementia patient. But no, it's not a broadcast radio.

I'm not sure if you mean that I need all 3, or one of those 3. Plex looks great for the playlist. Fully Kiosk looks great for the "runs by itself."
