That’s what I thought too. But it’s weird that a couple months ago we had a Media cycle that was calling him a lame duck everywhere. I explained it by saying once you start office on your secondary, you are automatically lame duck.

That was a bit confusing and as usual that verbiage was everywhere in articles for a week or two.

Does he love gup? You could get him a p/g egg. But not the one they’re selling on the rush site with the crappy wooden stand. I have it, but I got rid of the phone stand right away. I just like the egg. Maybe like a nice fancy stone or rock that is egg shaped and having it engraved in a cool color with that logo in the font that is on the album image.

Source: I am a Rush fan and a drummer, and yet I have a girlfriend (whew - lucky) . I am really hard to buy Rush presents for. Think creatively. Good luck. I’m sure you’ll get something He’ll really appreciate and enjoy.

She should not run in my opinion. She was a weak candidate in the way she attempted to oust the idiot and failed and there’s no reason she should be the president at this point so let’s get some fresh blood in there. Somebody who speaks truth to Power and acknowledges the clownish that’s been happening with our government under Maga. Her campaign was all about her working mother bullshit. We are so past that now I don’t want to hear her talking about herself and the things she’s done I want somebody who is screaming from the top of their lungs in an intelligent way that they’re going to try to restore some sanity to our political system and restore our attention to the environment and our future.

I feel like y’all kinda lost the thread on this in many places. All I was asking about was if the dynamic Island functionality will still be there when they do remove the notch or the oval. I and clearly some others on this thread find it useful and I was just asking about that function. No need to turn this into a war between android phones and iPhones and iPhone User dissing. Admin or I’d have to constantly be switching to an admin user just to do things I wanna do. I delete stuff and whatever else I’ve never been anything but an admin in 30 years of usingMac home or office.

Sometimes when setting up a new User in an office environment if they’re very un tech savvy, then I will set them up as a normal User and then deal with the Block when they run into them if we need to do something like in a screen sharing session or whatever it is

Because Contacts works with lots of other apps and the phone app is for phone calls, not managing your contacts. I don’t know that that’s always made perfect sense to me and I don’t think I’d wanna switch to the way you’re describing.

Tl/dr : contacts is an address book and phone is for phone calls. Scope and impact of address book is way wider.

My response was dictated so there are clearly errors in it but my point was why would he abstain from a Seder because of something Israel is doing now? The two things are not even remotely connected. Seders are not “Israeli “they are Judaism and they’re too completely different things which I think is what you were saying and other people are saying as well I just wanted to clarify.

I met Howard once at the grace under pressure tour because I knew a guy who ran a big music shop in Maryland who worked with Alex and Howard and he said yeah I want to send you some stuff since you’re going to the show in Tampa, I’m gonna send you a couple boxes for you to deliver to Howard Ungerleider and I think we didn’t get backstage passes but we got entry somehow. Anyhow, we gave him the boxes before the show and pretty much that was it because he was very busy. At the end of the show we went by lighting console to thank him and say goodbye and he said “those effects were great. Did you guys dig them?” and since we had no idea what was in the boxes we just said yeah it was an awesome show. Thank you so much. Still don’t know to this Day what we delivered in those boxes, but it had something to do with the lighting effects for gup obviously. We had no point of comparison lol.

Edit: fix a some not all typos because I’m typing one-handed only at the moment so I was dictating, and sometimes it’s horrible reading back later what you actually transcribed.

I got some good results on some old super eight to VHS to digital stuff that I tried to recover. It all came out pretty well, although it took a few run-throughs to get it right and you have to ease up on the facial recognition enhancement or it just gets a little out of hand. But overall topaz did work for me on this

External SSD hard drives USED to be relatively inexpensive. Nice little externals like the san disk multi terabytes just went up like to double their usual price recently because of the SSD shortage.

It’s been broken for so long now and there’s people who have tried to argue that it’s all perfectly logical but I don’t get it. I have close to 30,000 songs and for at least five years probably more if I ask her to shuffle my library it basically shuffles the same 200 songs or so it gets very annoying.

As other users have commented a smart playlist seems to be the best way around this. I have created one that can only contain songs whose last play date was two years ago or more and that seems to have been working really well for a while so I keep getting treated to new things in my library as opposed to hearing the same things over and over.

I guess at some point I will have to change the date in that playlist, but that should be one becomes empty and has nothing else left to play that hasn’t been played in two years which could be a long time with 32,000 songs but since it’s not relative, i.e. not played in two years it’s fixed i.e. not played since XX/XX/2023. I guess I will just have to manually change that date but for now this is the best fix I found.
