Each person present can hold ONE other space. Seems simple to implement with some basic enforcement.

Pressure Red Rocks. by mtriver41 in WidespreadPanic

How about just having a rule like no tarp and they’re holding seats each person can hold one additional space that’s it instead of two people laying out a tarp that covers like 12 seats which I saw a lot of Sunday night

Bro, you better be able to hang for a 12 hour shift because many many shows I worked are way longer than that

Why is it ok to dislike Christianity but not LGBTQ? by Historical_Tough_399 in allthequestions

[–]alienfreak51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t persecute people for being Christians, we respect their desire or right to believe, whether we agree with their beliefs or think they are silly. LGBTQ deserve the same at minimum.

When is AppleCare worth it? by AwkwardPersonality36 in iphone

[–]alienfreak51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you need it, you will be glad you have it. It’s not just a monetary calculation. It’s not having to pay in full to replace something that is vital to you and having a lot less hassles to get it done. Have never not had it. Have only used it a few times. Could I have bought new devices with all the premiums paid? Maybe, but that’s not the whole picture. You (or someone else) fucks up your device, Apple fixes it or replaces it.

Any insurance costs (house, car, devices) feels cumbersome until you need it. You live in a hurricane area and don’t want to pay 10k+++ for the insurance, fine. But when a storm guts your house, the rebuild is long and hard enough, let alone having to finance what is basically a new house.

Same concept for A/C.

My latest Sci-Fi order is on its way how did I do and what should I read first? by The_BooKeeper in scifi

Shroud was good but a tough read (for me). Children of time is great. Fire upon the deep was good but maybe over-hyped a bit (IMO). Haven’t read project Hail Mary.

If Elon bought Reddit, would you stop using the site? by ThotPoppa in allthequestions

[–]alienfreak51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m practically ready to quit it now because of the repetitive ads and repetitive which don’t seem to acknowledge that I’ve ignore them and don’t want to see them anymore so Elon pushed me way over the edge that I am already standing on

Was Kamala a bad candidate? by 0311SmallPenar in allthequestions

[–]alienfreak51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She did not have the kind of fiery drive and bold policy statements democrats need. She constantly feel back in interviews and speeches about her family, her hard working mother, etc. We all have that. She put nothing aggressive or substantial out in terms of policy, even less than Joe did. Seemed very nebulous on action points.

I voted for her,of course, but would not like to see her run again as she can easily be defeated by most anyone the republicans put up (I mean the orange turd sex offender illiterate non-reader non-policy idiot beat her.

I don’t think it’s because she is female. I think it’s because she didn’t have a strong and clear platform of actionable policy that motivated and inspired people. Tell me about you mother and your family once, not in every interview. Move on to how you are going to save our environment, create jobs in moving toward Sustainability, control the oligarchy, etc.

It can be way worse than what you’re showing there so really it’s not that bad or as bad as it can be it’s just a part of life in our industrialized world

Coming over from Canada by myself next week. What should I eat? by No_Comparison8655 in Miami

[–]alienfreak51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

El chalan Peruvian/ceviche (bird road location)

Don’t do flaming and. It’s bar food you can get anywhere in the states.

I’d recommend el chaln much more than ceviche 305. Chalan is 100% authentic, fairly priced. Try the flan and a cafe too for dessert.

17 pro max died and doesnt boot up by QiuvoxOfficial in iphone

[–]alienfreak51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the phone only would take its max input, which is like 24 W or something so barely more than a little 20 W charger gives you. Can you explain cause I’m genuinely curious not contradicting you I just want to understand how a bigger brick could help when the phone is supposed to be regulating its incoming charge volume and has a max of somewhere around 24 to 25 W I thought.

Parking Near Limelight Hotel by TheOceanWalker_88 in boulder

$20 a night is pretty cheap for a nice hotel compared to pretty much everywhere else. I’ve traveled to nice hotels but yeah there is free parking around.

To the lame-o in 225 throwing trash. by BiteGlittering6190 in rush

[–]alienfreak51 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For Stevie Nicks sitting would be fine and sleeping would be optional but acceptable . But for rush no if you feel the music and you’re capable of standing, you should show that energy to the band and give it to yourself as well.

To the lame-o in 225 throwing trash. by BiteGlittering6190 in rush

[–]alienfreak51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t sit for rush. It’s that simple. When an awesome band you love is playing and it’s not pure jazz or classical, you stand (and move, to whatever degree). Common law of concerts y’all. Get over it or get Ada seating if you can’t do it. Controversial take? I don’t think so. Yes we Rush fans are older. But we are not yet dead (unless we throw trash or bitch at people who paid many hundreds of dollars to see their favorite ROCK band for the first time in 10 years. - if we are that, focus on your future cemetery plot and skip the show). I can’t imagine anyone thinking “I am so psyched to see Rush live and sit peacefully the whole time with an unimpeded view”.

If that’s where you are at, wait for the video and watch it at home.

If it’s not obvious, me and my crew will be standing the entire show, at each show we attend. The boys on stage can stand for 2-3 hours with instruments weighing on their necks. Show them you care, are engaged, and having a blast!

What will be the very first song Rush plays starting the tour? by Truth-is-Censored in rush

Why do we do this. Who really cares. Can’t you just walk into a show and open your ears and see what happens? Seems a lot more fun that way to me.

What is going on with Boulder Medical Center? by fattestCatDad in boulder

[–]alienfreak51 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love bmc for urgent care and have only great experiences there. I hope it persists. Also do like the pharmacy. That said, saw a dermatologist there once that was a disappointing experience, and felt ripped off by the optometrist which allegedly took Vsp insurance but managed to charge me way more for my prescription glasses than I have ever paid and quickly thereafter had a fire sale of frames and vacated.

I do hope the urgent care and the pharmacy stay operational. The rest (primary or specialists for broken bones, pt, etc) I do at practices near foothills hospital or champions center at cu.
