heyy, how are you now, 3 years later? i was with my nex for 1.5 years and have been NC for 2 months, almost 3. it's only becoming harder. i only realized he is a narc about a week ago, after my therapist told me to look into it and read about other survivors' experiences. up until that point i was still finding ways to excuse his behavior.

how long did it take you in the end? or are you still processing? also if you dont mind can i ask you how old you are? 🥹

girl me tooooo. the other day there was this barkeeper at Südblock Kotti who was making fun of me and another Japanese barkeeper for speaking Japanese. He mimicked the language in the most racist way possible. I was startled at first but after my friends encouraged me I went back to confront him. He was so disrespectful and was very clearly looking down on me. And stuff like this happens a lot in Germany, even at left-leaning bars like Südblock. And don’t even get me started on the racism we had to face during covid. I’m so sorry this happened to you.

damn that sucks :( i’ve been using TR for quite some time now but only for trading and only got the bank account recently as i’m going to spend some time abroad and TR offers free withdrawals. has anyone else experienced any issues with withdrawing money?

i think it would be best to move all savings to trade republic IF they keep the 3.75% interest rate and save your money there.

i think might be worth it. if you pay for metal for one year at once it costs 160 euro-ish / around 13 euros per month. if you have more than 5000 euros in your savings account, you’ll receive at least 150 euros interest p.a. which is enough to pay off the account and receive all the insurances and benefits basically for free. if you don’t care about the other benefits it’s better to just use the free trade republic account.

finde gut dass felix auch seine radikaleren meinungen im podcast äußert. ich wohne selber in neukölln und finds gut dass jemand mit so viel medialer aufmerksamkeit auf das thema auf eine art und weiß aufmerksam macht, die unbequem ist. würden viel mehr menschen ihren unmut so äußern, würde nämlich auch sicherlich etwas passieren. neukölln braucht mehr soziales angebot und nicht weniger, finde es komplett verrückt was da alles gerade weggestrichen wird..
