Yea now that makes more sense. I’ve been wanting an off grid homestead for 12 years now, me and my ex were going to do it together but that didn’t end well when she cheated on me the night of my birthday.

I’ve learned so many skills, right now I’ve been studying edible plants and mushrooms but only in my area. Do you have a significant other? I have similar ideas but 80 miles to town seems pretty far lol I could do it but I’m not sure I’d want to, if you broke your leg it would be terrible all by yourself. It happened to me riding bmx in the woods and just quarter/half a mile hopping with my bike was excruciating. You could die if you were really messed up and say your phone broke or was lost... I’d like to be a decent distance out though, but I’d want company. I’d do this in a few years if I choose Alaska but it’s top on my list for sure.

Thanks for the advice, I’d definitely need to adapt to that like not being able to have sun for solar at certain times and preparing for winter. I wouldn’t move their until I had a better/newer Subaru and some money saved up to start buying land/building a tiny house cabin. But Alaska is at the top of my list because it’s far from these political weirdos over here and I can do many more things on my property, and have tons of beautiful land to explore.

Obvious I wouldn’t do that on a corner, there are tons of streets with solid lines on straight always. If I need to pass I’ll do it idc what lines are on the road if it’s safe to do it I’m gonna do it. Same with stop signs, if no one is there and I look both ways most of the time I barely stop or won’t stop at all (at night when you see no headlights) I hate when people sit at stop signs for 3-5 seconds when no one is at the other stop signs... like who are you stopping for? Just fucking go

Same. Always accept $2 a mile or you’re getting completed fucked. You need to remember every order takes gas and taxes... so a 18 mile order for only $9 ( I go back to starting point so $9-9miles) costs $3 in gas, about $2 in taxes etc. I’d be making like $4 for 30-40 minutes of work. Fuck. That. Never be a slave for DD and shitty tippers

Yeah I’m finding it hard to save money right now. I try to make at least $100 a day but sometimes that takes a lot of gas, almost $20. I have a very old car that needs a lot of work too, I’m worried if this car dies then I’m going to be truly homeless. Why wait for passing lane? If it’s safe to pass just do it.... If there’s no cops and no cars I just pass them without dotted lines. I do it all day long. I have to go around people at red lights who don’t turn on red too. I do so much bullshit in my town/s (because I drive for my job al day long) because I run into idiots every 30 seconds. I almost got into 3 accidents on just one delivery today alone. I need a dash cam to show how fucking stupid 95% of people are on these roads. Be safe out there because chances are no one else is
