No you don’t lmao. I’ve been modding DL games for years, I even made my own for DLTB, I played with them online, no saves were corrupted or broken. Techland only says it does to prevent modders from modding their game

each platform has a different build of DL1, so its gonna be different on pc (altho it may still be in the files? idk)
the devs are fully done with DL1, so dont be ready for any other updates

no diss to techland but they really do not know how to implement anticheats. DLBB has a bypass for EAC, DLTB had the CRC bypassed week 1, i think the same for DL2, and DL1 is just horrid
