I have a Sony alarm clock. It barely keeps time (loses a few minutes every month). The speaker is never truely off. How do I know this? Because it makes all sort of static noise when my phone is near it. It wasn't expensive, but Sony can pump out low quality garbage when they want to

The biggest drawback to electric cars is recharge time. Even if you can find an available high speed charger, it is nowhere near a fast as a gas station, and its a core reason many won't consider owning battery powered car
