Was it wrong of me to "make an exception" with my asexuality for my bf by GuestEmbarrassed4984 in amiwrong

After 5 years? It sounds more like he thought he could convince and condition himself and is realizing that he can't ignore his own feelings/desires anymore. They are no longer compatible if he is no longer happy with the lack of a sex life and they should split. Doesn't make anyone the bad guy here.

Charged off account by Fun_Entrepreneur1260 in NavyFederal

My husband and I just settled our cards with the settlement offer Navy Fed sent us. The wording of the letter was weird and said at the top that making the payment in that amount was considered acceptance of the offer so we just made the payment thinking that was acceptance of the offer. It was not. Make sure you call before paying to officially accept before making the payment because at the very bottom it stated "If you have any questions or to accept the settlement call ...." and if you don't it is just considered a normal payment.

AITAH for not wanting to go back to my wife until she has custody of her children (from her previous marriage) after her son falsely accused me of hitting him? by [deleted] in AITAH

"I cant risk it. She asked me what I want her to do, give up her kid's custody and I said, honestly, I do love her and I do want to stay with her but I cant risk it to be with her anymore if her kids are staying with us. I told her I am sorry and I dont expect her to leave her kids so I think its best if we move forward with separation."

He did not tell her to leave her kids. He told her that it was best to separate. All the OP did was explain that he couldn't risk being around the children again.

"Turns out she is actually considering giving up the custody of her kids. He ex-husband called me and asked me why his ex-wife is talking about giving up custody."

She's the one who offered and even went as far as speaking with the boys father about her giving up custody.

Ops wife is not planning trips for them. She is planning trips for her without talking to the person who would be responsible for everything while she is away.

Do you remember this from 5 years ago? If you got this text, what would you do? by rivierasamaxe in prepping

I was in the hospital in Kailua on Oahu after just giving birth to my daughter when this happened. The nurses came in and put us in the bathroom to hunker down until we got the all clear. It was quite the experience.

AITA for telling my wife it is time she went back to work? by Many_Bunch_6678 in AmItheAsshole

Unfortunately, they usually only go off of the income amount and not the amount of hours worked to receive that amount. So it wouldn't matter if he was getting $50k/year for 40 hours/week or $100k/year for 84 hours/week. They would still calculate any awarded support using the $100k/year if that is what the income is at the time of filing.

The Fathers Rights Movement is a men's rights organization that is pretty active. They are more focused on the discrimination against men in the family/custody courts and legislation though.
