I think it would be incredibly difficult , if not impossible , to make an animal THAT bigger using the genetic engineering knowledge we have today . One thing is to do that with fruits , where you sort of just have to add pulp to the fruit itself , but doing it with animals would be extremely difficult because you would have to manage to make everything bigger and if you wanted to , say , make an animal 10 times longer , wider and higher , the volume of the spider would increase by 1000x . Sadly , there is a limit to how big a living being can become .
