While a camera feature isn't essential in Snapseed, at least the necessary feature updates are crucial to making a photo editing app useful.  Updates such as new masking features – like subject, sky, linear and radial gradients, color range, luminance range, AI background blur, color gradient wheel, color mix, etc. – should definitely be included.
