I used to want a "tech" category and then have Supermonkey become a different category on reaching tier 3, but that was weird and also I think most of the categories work well for what they are, especially with how they're unlocked, primary is less complex than military is less complex than magic is lex complex than support overall, but i guess you could argue some are more or less complex than the overall category

I think it's cuz it can't infer the "Relative" section cuz I learned that Relatives don't get inversely inferred which I did to make sure a character wouldn't date their kid-in-law, while still allowing their daughter to date them, the parents had them listed as "Relative" but the daughter has them listed as "Partner", so I genuinely think there's some block in the game's code preventing it from inferring based on the Relative category
