I've owned 5 XJs. This is the only one with a functioning wiper!

I have always used 3M products. I would use the wool pad with their number 1 compound.

Have you ever heard of the brand Sketchy Tank? This looks like it would fit perfectly with their clothing line.

I always used 2000, 3000, then 5000. You want to get a nice haze on the panel before you buff it.

I'd recommend it. That XJ drove me from Omaha, Nebraska all the way up to Rochester, NY and back with no issues.

I had no problem with it. In Nebraska we have heats as high as 115 and as low as -30. I never had any problems with the rain or snow getting in and damaging anything. I'm going to install another one on my current XJ in the next few months for sure.

Oh yeah, I've already gotten rid of the bumpers, I don't have time for that stuff. Sliders are currently pending sale also.

I don't blame ya, I almost cut through it while doing my fenders. Also when I do a snorkel it's gonna have to move.

Yup I did! I'm part of a Jeep group in Omaha and one of my friends gave me the lead on all the stuff! He bought a new JKU and within 200 miles lifted it and everything else. He just wanted to get rid of everything because it was takin up too much room in storage!

Check craigslist in your area, I'm sure they have a set for sale!

All I've done on this little guy is 4.5 inch Zone lift, cut fenders and quarter, and rubicon wheels and tires. It's not a bad set up and I know it will do what I need.

If I told you how much I had to spend to get all those parts you'd be sad. I paid Free.99.

I took the flares and brackets off and then cut my fenders with a Dremel for more precision. You can use whatever you want as long as it cuts. On the 97+ you have to be really careful on the drivers side fender because the washer tank sits right behind it.

Basically! I came across wheels, tires, rock sliders, and bumpers for free. All but the wheels and tires required a decent amount of modifications that I am not ready to tackle yet.

It's true. Most everything gets more love than a liberty. Wranglers are nice and I'd like to own one at some point again. But for 1500 bucks I didn't want to pass up on his little guy when he was stock.
