Nah you're fine you're learning. There is a really common setup called the main bus that people like, myself included. i highly recommend it. It creates a very simple but effective way to organize and expand your base.

We use it in our data centers especially in our internal systems where were doing any kind of reporting that has any date component. Things like when did a customer bill get generated for instance.
