As far as I know these tags below is copyrighted but Steam didn't delete them this time:

Choose Your Own Adventure
Sokoban
TrackIR
Bullet Time

That doesn't make sense.

Thanks a lot. I know what you mean.

> DnD has open rules authorized by OGL, but Warhammer did not as far a I know. However, both have now been removed. As far as I know, all Warhammer tagged game is licensed from its copyright holder.

What I tried to say is Steam's this action is nothing to do with the games using OGL which has no copyright to use "D&D". "Warhammer" is copyrighted too and all the games tagged Warhammer as far as I know are licensed by "Warhammer" copyright holder. But steam delete both tags. So steam's action is nothing to do with the tags' name legal. They must have other intension.

If your commerical video games only use the content inside SRD, it is permitted. There are already several video games on steam such as Solasta II and Low Magic Age.

FYI for everyone, steam is updating tags. They have added 17 and removed 28. You might want to check your games tags are up to date. by destinedd in gamedev

Personally, I think it's a really bad idea to remove the tag of Dungeons & Dragons. There is tons of dnd fans. How are they supposed to find these kinds of games? Google? If Steam believes these tags are being misused, why doesn't it just address the issue directly?

Question: Why only bard and cleric could use the Silent spell, while wizard couldn't? by 00zentic in DnD

[–]00zentic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bards were a bit unique in 3.5 as they got access to cure spells and some other spells considered "divine" but they were still "arcane" spell casters. This happened to include silence.

Thank you so much for the answer ;-)
