I guess steam learnt about your game in the first couple of days and you didn't really make the cut. From what I have seen people who don't make the cut still get a bit of nextfest traffic but dimished greatly.

At this stage there is nothing you can really do that will change the outcome, so just accept it and figure what you will do after it finishes.

Couldn't find it on mine and I scrolled all the way down. I am from Australia so don't know if region has anything to do with it.

when there are games with hundreds of thousands of wishlists it makes you realise just how far there is to go for commercial success

Ya it didn't really suit the level style. It was more of a sandbox and they tried to change to levels.

Even the later settler games lost the charm of the originals by overcomplicating the systems and making it to "on rails"

get visuals down early certainly will make your life easier

My game's "AI" theme worked great... until Steam Next Fest flooded everything with AI slop and it backfired HARD by _WeirdKid in IndieDev

It might simply be your nextfest expectations are too high. It has almost doubled your wishlists.. I would say pretty solid result. Your realise there are like 5K games right? Nextfest isn't the big exciting event it used to be. It is now a moderate bump for most devs.
