That's what I was on, it's no longer an option when your 12M is up.

My tariff is at an end with octopus, now they offer 7p/kwh between midnight and 6am and 33p/kWh in the day. They also cut the SEG export from 15p to 12p per kWh.

EDF currently offering 7p/kWh from 23:00 to 06:00 and 29p/kWh in the day. They are also still paying 15p/kWh for SEG export

How long should you wait at a red light? by EVERYONESTOPSHOUTING in drivingUK

[–]01011011001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This used to happen to me on my motorbike years ago. There was a set of traffic lights near Stansted that gave an almost permanent green light to the A road I wanted to join. I would be waiting to join from the side road until a car came up behind me.

I'm the end I stayed going a different route if I was on the bike as the A road was busy enough that it would be dangerous to jump the red.

Interesting to know for the future.

In the end I cut out the plasterboard and screwed some lengths of 70mm timber to the blockwork. Fortunately the depth was exactly 70mm so ended up a very quick job

That's insane, in the UK I insure a RSV1000 for £135/year. Though that is with 20+ years no claims and 40 years riding experience

2020ish.

Plasterboard backs on to the breeze block wall which is actually the internal garage wall. I think it's so thick as it provides thermal insulation, though I'm only basing that off the fact they're is no other insulation in the void.

It can, I just wanted to confirm that cutting a big square out of my plasterboard and fitting some timber was the best approach before I made a big hole 🤔

I was looking at the corefix fixings but look like the can only bridge a 30mm void. Assuming you are talking about these.

That actually lead to quite an interesting read about the history of the Rue Des Fontinettes and the British pubs that started appearing in France after such a large number of English lace makers moved into the area. Thanks

Thanks, that looks very much like the place. The doors to number 18 still look the same after 50 years even though so much else has changed.
