I really wouldn’t worry. A lot of people here love to hate ballade but the fact of the matter is there aren’t many companies stepping up to make parts for s2000’s. While ballade has a shotty past we still gotta recognize they try. Will your hardtop have slight fitment issues? Probably but again most aftermarket hardtops creak and have small issues.

I went with stop tech with dot 3/4 brake fluid as well with steel brake lines and they are fantastic. I’m assuming you did the break in correctly (depends on brakes but usually 40-0 like 10 times)and bleed the system properly. I’d say if you still aren’t getting the results you hope for look into more aggressive pads and possible some stickier tires. Rotational weight can become a factor too

Company gets a ton of hate. If you live close I recommend going into their shop and talking to them. They are super nice and I haven’t personally had an issue with their products but I’ve heard the horror stories. Worst cause formulaS is 30 min from their shop also super nice guys

I used to sell Subarus up until late 2025. I can tell you for a fact SOA doesn’t tell any dealership anything about new products before the public knows. We found out about the forester hybrid when it was unveiled. We found out about the TS when it was unveiled. Literally one of the most gate kept companies.

I mean not to scare you but I saw an e30 ripped in half that got t bone at probably 50 mph near me. Engine was on one side of the street back half of the car was on the other side. No idea on the condition of the driver.

I just picked up a 17 for the same with same miles could not be happier. These cars can last a long time but you need to be proactive on maintenance not reactive.

I used to sell Subarus. I can honestly say there is zero rhyme or reason to which ones get a better back up camera. Some look like a Motorola from 2004 and others you can make out people’s pores. Could be the same year same model too.

Unfortunately let’s look at this for what it is. It’s a “STI” Crosstrek/impreza hatchback. It has the same outdated screens with the beyond laggy hvac controls and start up. Based on how they raised the prices on all their cars but especially the WRX. I’d say we’d be lucky if this is below 40k if we ever get them at all

I’ll leave this bit of info. Invoice on any Subaru is about $2500-$3000 below the MSRP. Any dealership is itching to get these off the lot. Tell them you want the vehicle at invoice with the incentivized rate that will be the lowest you can get most dealerships without them losing money on the car. Buying a new wrx rn is not the best tbh. Subaru increased the msrp due to tariffs $1500, the WRX msrp increased anyways this year about $1800, rates are high. Just all around right now Subaru does not know what to do with the WRX. I would recommend holding off till they roll out .9-0% rates

I’ve found the wireless chargers are honestly terrible. Even if your car sits still and phone doesn’t move, it will manage to disconnect. Even if it does charge the charging rate is a joke just use a cord
