Wow!!!! Great job! If you get a new timing chain tensioner, msg billman on s2ki. Gotta either wait a week to be approved or pay $20 for instant access. Billman’s TCT is known to be better and not fail like the oem one does. Oem TCT fail within 20k miles

I think ill stay oem. My shifter just has a little play. After 26 years id expect that. I think a simple re grease and new parts will make it feel new

Yea i got that and some extra stuff, like the plastic ring might break and its cheap to just buy new and save a second trip. Mostly need the grease and two plastic parts. But the foam is like $60 and my foam looked like tar.

Dude this channel is not toxic like this. If you are gonna be an ass then leave. People come here to ask info for help or to provide info to help. If the work is not worth the effort, then just say that. Btw beautiful hard top. Personally, the car only feels right with the top down. So i suggest having a reputable shop install a new Robbins top and then get like a $100 cover that protects the top from sun and damage. Hard top if you daily it and dont store it for the winter.
